We ordered a chili pumpkin and we received a kind of liquid soup, brown, the taste was very awful and the bread was dry. When I complain, the waitress just said that she doesn't not know what happen to the chef! I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Arrived without a reservation and was given a table right away. The first ouzo arrived before I took my jacket off and kept on coming every time our glasses were empty. Food was delicious but the service was exceptional. Even though the place was packed out there was always an attentive waiter available. Fantastic

The restaurant does not offer a big variety but the food is good. Itâs a self-service restaurant with âBiergartenâ and a beautiful playground close to the water side. For families an absolute recommendation, even so it is quite busy - if you are not up to simple things, let it be...

The positives: beautiful lakeside terrace on an otherwise great campground, right next to a beautiful large playground. Unfortunately though, the food cannot begin to keep up with the prose of the menu descriptions. Of the quite limited selection, every meat and fish dish is deep fried and uninspired. This restaurant claims to be Austrian but cannot even get a Germknödel right, the yeast did not rise at all. Worst of all is the service quality. In the course of a weekday lunch at a time when the restaurant was almost empty, they managed to forget not one but two dishes our group had ordered. When asked about the obvious delay on the second item the waitress first gave a rude response accusing the guests of being impatient, only to come back minutes later to admit that there would be a longer delay. No apology, but instead she tried to upsell the group on getting another round of drinks. Conclusion: maybe you can chance it to buy a beer here, but avoid this place for everything else.

I just visited here for the third time and not disappointed. It was Sunday so fairly quiet but I ordered the Pork Knuckle with sauerkraut potatoes and horse radish and man it was good. Huge portion with delicious flavours from each ingredient complimenting one another. â¬13.80 and I couldnât finish it. 2 beers to help it go down at â¬4.10 each.friendly English speaking staff as well. Fantastic value in an atmospheric setting, varied menu with a great selection of drinks. Not easy to find but worth searching out, itâs great!

Situated just over the river Spree from Friedrichshagen S-bahn, this quaint bar/restaurant sits on a square floating pontoon about 50 meters from the shore and looking like a cross between a Swiss chalet and an American wild west log cabin. To reach it from the town you can if you wish, walk under the river, through a pedestrian tunnel, along the river bank and onto a jetty where you press a button to attract the attention of the proprietor. He then sends an equally square outboard driven 'thingy' which is equipped with saggy rope rails for your safety and a couple of loose deck chairs and tables for your comfort. Alternatively you can stand. The bar itself is quaint with shed loads of atmosphere. English is spoken, so communication is not a problem. We only had time for a drink, so I cannot comment on the food. I do understand however, that it is pretty good and I must say that on my next trip to Berlin, I am very tempted to make the effort to go back and sample the cuisine. Fish is their speciality.

Having been here before, we were familiar with the busy and slightly noisy place and didnât mind the vivid atmosphere. While the food was well prepared, delicious and nicely arranged, the service was obviously overwhelmed. Wrong dishes delivered (however replaced without any discussion) and while we were still busy with entrees, they came already with the main course and squeezed the plates on our anyhow crowded, small table. Very unpleasant experience and not at the level we had experienced before.

This Restaurante is definitely the best option at this area and even better is the possibility to stay over night at the lovely, modern rooms on the top. Service is friendly, menu is traditional and offer seasonal, local products. We stayed back with our family after a family reunion with lunch and really enjoyed it ! Hope to be able to come back soon !!!

We have just come back from a 4 night stay and enjoyed every minute. The location is awesome and the hotel is excellent with a great breakfast, comfy bed and helpful and friendly staff. We have just booked again for next year.

Our aunt selected this restaurant. The view is spectacular but prices do not repr3sent the quality of the good. My for instance, the presentation was good but the salmon was salty I made the mistake of putting Pepper and salt to the salad a s ruined the hold plate since the salmon was sufficient salty to dressing the rest. The servo e was good the waiter was on top of everything. Our aunt and uncle had better luck with their meals. Beer was good. If you care about the view and are willing to pay high prices not caring about the quality, this is the place
