The view from the first floor terrace is outstanding. The 3 course fixed menu at lunchtime is reasonable value but of variable quality with the fish a much better choice than the meat. The vegetables were obviously precooked but the sardines and squid were good. We felt relaxed and enjoyed our time at Ca La Paquita.

This is a wonderful restaurant with excellent service along with beautiful surroundings. We went for lunch and you can choose either a menu of the day ( this had so many options to choose from for all three courses) which also includes a bottle of wine and water for just 16 euros per person or from the menu itself we went for the menu of the day.. we chose the delicious macaroni to start that was piping hot and huge then the garlic chicken which simply fell off the bone was so tasty and handmade chips for dessert we had ice cream and creme catalan. House rose was cold and pleasant. we paid a few extra euros for two nice coffees at the end of the meal. Service was attentive and professional the restaurant itself is super clean and they were very welcoming to all as well as larger parties with children so its great if you are travelling with kids. This is a must if you visit El Port de La Selva. Its located in the street just behind the port close to the Spar Supermarket ( its also a a little hotel)

Best restaurant I have ever been!! Chef Paco Perez is a genious. He transmit the essence and flavor of Costa Brava and Llança into a extraordinary 25 dishes menu. Creative cuisine full of sences and innovate tastes. Fantastic view over Llança water front. Well acomodated on a round table. Very professional staff. Hugh wine list

went there with the whole family -my parents, grandparents and aunt- and had a great lunch in front of the port of Port de la Selva. Great seafood, not overpriced in my opinion - and the service was great. Would recommend to go if you have some sort of celebration going on :)

We had lunch there with the whole family and everybody enjoyed their meal.Their menu is very affordable with a good choice.Sea food is fresh, service is nice and the terrace is great.We came before and will come back as often as possible. Thank you

Sant Pere de Rodes is an ancient monastery where the monks used to practice the art of wine-making. We enjoyed the landscape: surrounded by mountains, where we still could see the imprint of old terraces discharged in rapid decline, and the Mediterranean sea (Port de la Selva i Cap de Creus). The wine tasting included a guided visit to the monastery with all the information related to the ancient monks' wine-making process and it ended with the tasting of three wines accompanied by local products, in a unique setting, the terraces of the monastery.The wines were from a Port de la Selva vinery and it consisted on pairing them with small elaborated dishes of local special products.the wines were elegant and full-bodied and specialties made with local products were delicious and demonstrated the high quality of the natural products of the area.

This is the restaurant associated with the Hotel Porto Cristo. The restaurant is located on the Platja and has both indoor and outdoor seating We both found the food to be good and reasonably priced. My companion, a vegetarian, really like the thin crust vegetarian pizza. I had the spaghetti bolognese; it was good but I thought the portion too small. Had a meal here on our last evening in Port de la Selva, and it was literally 20m from our apartment.We sat outside by the pavement, and although it is next to a road, it wasn't too busy.Ordered the special potatoes (patatas bravas), the duck and Carpaccio.The potatoes were cut into cup shapes and filled with a bravas sauce, the best we've ever tasted. The duck was excellent, slightly pink and fantastically tender.Price wise it isn't cheap nor expensive, but quality food isn't cheap eitherThe guys serving were very attentive and polite. An excellent meal, and we would definitely recommend.

We visited on a lovely sunny day - they were sensitive enough to note that our very pale northern British skins might suffer from the strong sun and offered cover whenever we wanted it!Lovely view of the bay - food was very tasty - they catered well for our party of early teenagers to health-challenged old codgers (me!). We all loved our various dishes but the locally sourced prawns (gambes) ("shrimps" to the locals!) were the best! I chose tempura mushrooms - they were tasty if a little too oily for me but luckily others shared their dishes too!.

The Noray is the Restaurant of "Port Salin" hotel.We have been several times recently as we enjoy the fare very as well as the waterside location.In addition to the 'a la carte' menu they offer a very good value 'menu del dia' given the excellent quality of the food.The service is warm, friendly and efficient, we look forward to our next visit.
