We had a voucher for a 3 course meal at a fletcher hotel so decided to try this restaurant, it was ok but nothing special, first of we asked for a beer to be told the tap was broken so ordered bottled instead was then informed that they had run out of bottled beer !! The food was very nice but the poor waiter was working on his own in a large restaurant so the service was not good although he was very polite but obviously needed help !

Dwingerloo has quite a few attractive looking restaurants, but we choose this one due to its location over looking the Brink (which is a bit like a village green). This turned out to be a good choice. Its a pleasant grand cafe, with friendly staff. We had the selection of seafood starters, which turned out to be a good choice. Excellent quality and not expensive.

Restaurant Riete is located in centre of Dwingeloo. The village is a hidden gem. The restaurant offers lunch, tapas and dinner. Beers & drinks and common good Dutch food define its character. The café-restaurant is open 6 days a week from 11am to 21pm. Furnishings and decoration provides an easy-going café atmosphere. Service is friendly and adequate. We came on a weekday afternoon and the restaurant was quiet. We went for ham & eggs sandwiches. We were not disappointed. The egg sandwich was tasty and well presented. We recommend Restaurant Riete to anyone who seeks easy food and a good glass in a relaxed rural ambiance.

This is a cheery place, frequented by locals, located on the village square. Service was fine, friendly although a bit slow, but it was busy. Some dishes were uninspiring; some portions huge. The pancakes were generous, quite tasty though a little heavy

Hiusgemaakte aardappelchips met drove worst smak? Huisgemaakte they were not. Crisps from a packet flavoured bizarrely with cloves.3,50 for a bag of crisps? And mislead into thinking they were home made? Not good. Also Satan's koffie. Almost half half koffie and ginger syrup. Nice? If it was hot. Barely lukewarm. So 7,10 for crisps and almost cold koffie. Will not be going back.

This is a hotel-restaurant in the center of Dwingeloo, opposite the church. I have not slept there but have heard its very good. I visit the restaurant every now and then for either lunch or a snakc or coffee. I think the ambiance is excellent. Inside are many cosy coeners and tables to sit and relax, and outside they have a nice terrace with tables and chairs but also with nice lounge-benches. Absolutely good foor. I can only recommend this place.

I visited the Bospub with my partner twice over the last weekend. We got there before the usual dinner time and it was relaxing and cosy inside, but most tables were reserved so it must get rather busy. Luckily we could get a table because we enjoyed their delicious pancakes!! The following day we visited again after cycling the whole morning and enjoyed a large fried egg, chips and a cheese toastie. Great food and fantastic service! Would definitely visit again if we are in the area!

This is a restaurant with a very cosy feel over it. The lay out is spacious and the furniture feels like home. Staff is friendly and the food is honest and (if possible) from local farmers. The menu is not very big end things tend to be sold out between ordering and serving we experienced. But in Dwingeloo probabely the best place to have diner. Its the kind of place where you dont feel like leaving after you ate desert...and take another drink.

We sat on the patio, lovely atmosphere. I had baked herb crusted fish with soba noodles and vegetables in a lovely broth, so good. My husband had the tournados of beef, so tender and flavorful. There were community bowls of vegetables, well prepared. The desserts were so good, I had white chocolate mousse with raspberries and a sorbet. Beautifully presented. Our guests had cheesecake, which was small, but accompanied by chocolate covered nuts and other items, but not as nice as mine. I would highly recommend if you are in this area to treat yourself.
