It lies on the eastward tail spurs of the Chiltern Hills, 30 miles (50 kilometres) north of London. Nice cosy atmosphere with good looking decor and smart table lay out. Good service and a good selection of classic dishes. Fine for a celebration night out but a little expensive for a casual meal out.

Very busy for a Thursday eve. Service was swift for drinks on arrival. Had hot mezze platter, very tasty & hot. May courses served with a fresh, very colourful salad. Lamb and chicken shish were juicy and more-ish. Portions are big. Complementary baklava to finish & perfectly chilled wine. We will defo be back.

We have visited twice in the last month and thoroughly enjoyed our starters and mains both times. It has a nice selection for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The restaurant has a nostalgic and cosy feel to it and we like the photos on the walls. The waitress is welcoming and attentive and the food is very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.

Had the mushroom cheese and veg baguette to start it was absolutely huge! So tasty, shared it with my partner. Delicious. Followed by the breaded chicken with mushroom and cheese, boiled potatoes and side salad. The portion was huge and so tasty. They donât serve alcohol but happy for you to take your own drink. They do serve soft drinks. Please try this place if you are thinking about it, the food is so good and reasonably priced. Service was very good too.
