Delicious food served in salubrious surrounds with live music on weekends
A very authentic Italian. Family owned fir many years and as a consequence has great food and exceptional reputation. Itâs therefore v popular! It seemed a bit disorganised some people arriving later getting served first; menus but no wine list TIL asked but all worked out in the end. Quite a few children early evening.

We booked a Groupon voucher for a 4 course meal for two, which cost â¬49. We certainly weren't disappointed! This is a lovely quaint, rustic venue and we were warmly greeted and shown to our table immediately upon arrival. The table service was extremely prompt and helpful and our waitress was friendly, engaging and polite. My husband had the duck spring roll for starters and he said it was delicious (he's a fussy so and so - so this means it must have REALLY been good ). I had the cajun chicken salad which was lovely. For mains, he had fillet of Haddock with chunky chips (again, he loved it!!) and I ordered Lamb pie with creamy mash. I can't describe how moreish this was!!! To die for!! A real homely abs hearty meal.Dessert was Berry merengue with ice cream, followed by coffee.Truly delighted with the experience, service and quality of food. We will DEFINITELY be back â¤ï¸

First visit to Avoca in Dunboyne, had been recommended as great place to have lunch very very busy we both had chicken, chip and coleslaw for mains, which was pricey at â¬18.00 each, overpriced for what we had, followed by lovely deserts and coffee staff very friendly and helpful.

Bistro 85 in Dunboyne serves irish cuisine with some contemporary europeans twist. Alongside traditional irish favourites as steak and rack of lamb, Bistro 85 also offers a selection of european pasta dishes and salads.
Booked this restaurant at short notice and well worth the money again recommend this bistro not really suitable access for anyone with disabilities

Stopped for lunch even though Iâd had it said to me the food isnât good. I thought I would see for myself and places do change and improve. Only I was hungry I would have ran out with depression from the banshee music. I sheepishly asked could it be changed because someone else may have liked it. The place was very quiet though. At that time of day should have been buzzing. I was told it couldnât so thank goodness for Spotify and earphones. Not what you want though to have to plug in. I had the linguini and it was good, very tasty and I liked that the Parmesan was served on the side. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. I ordered a cappuccino but it was so bad and tasteless I couldnât drink it. When I mentioned it she didnât charge me but was obviously disgruntled. All such a pity. Itâs a very cozy setting, dark and brooding. Fire lit adding to the cozy escape from the wretched weather. It could be such a smashing place. The music is terrible unless you like diddlyei. No excuse for bad coffee these days. I hope someone can make the right changes happen to make this a flourishing business. Itâs a great setting.

Pumpin ravioli and ratatouille were bland and nothing special. They tasted like shop bought and reheated ready to eat food. Losos was okey and couscous was delicious. Appetizer - we had a goat cheese salad, which was quite nice actually. I would like to see a bit more choice for vegetarians

La Bucca Dunboyne is the third La Bucca Restaurant to open in county Meath in 2010. All our restaurants follow the same basic principles of serving good quality, freshly prepared food at value for money prices in clean, stylish surroundings.
We were staying in Dunboyne Castle for a spa weekend and a colleague recommended this restaurant. At first it was hard to find (down a sidestreet on the first floor). The menu is great - enough for everyone. As we are picky eaters (vegetarian and pescetarian) neither of his had a shortage of options. We got two starters between us, deep fried brie and the cheesy garlic break. They were both amazing - we debated for a strange amount of time (and still are 3 days later) over which we preferred and we reckoned the brie just about takes it (but agreed if we went back we would order both again). They have a really good opton where you can take any burger and replace it with a veggie burger so my partner went for the hawaiian burger and replaced it with veggie option and I ust went for the veggie option. The burger was a bit disappointing but just not to my taste - not the faulf of the restaurant. My partner loved hers! i also had a glass of wine and it only came to around â¬60 which is very cheap if you aren't from these parts! Will definitely be back but wil order a different main next time!

We were made welcome immediately and so began a lovely experience. The place is spotless and spacious. The atmosphere is great. The staff are friendly and engaging and professional. The menu is well laid out and they offer Pasta, meat and fish and pizza options. They have 2 beers on draught and I think they should consider adding an Italian beer to their draught list. We really enjoyed our meals very much.I had the pasta Al Diavolo and was was well pleased. I was pleased with the bill. I want to go back again.Hi there,We are delighted you enjoyed your experience with us!As always, we love to get feedback from our customers, and we are looking forward to serving you again some time very soon! All the best,The team @Da Vinciâs.
