Arrived here at about 8pm on a Friday evening. There was only one more table in and we were a party of 6. Staff were so helpful in trying to help us with the French menu. There were a lot of pointing, laughing and confused looks but we all managed to order what we wanted from the menu. It was a set menu and you could choose how many courses you required. One of our party is vegetarian and she knew that she would struggle with food choices in France. Nothing on the mains was vegetarian so she chose 2 starters and was very happy with her selections. Starters arrived after a short period of time and were delicious. Main courses ranged from steak, fish and a cheese salad. all were very fresh and tasty. Wine was really good. Overall a very good meal with a great waiter who helped us greatly and continued to smile throughout. Prices were very reasonable.Hello, Thank you for your opinion. Regards,

We stayed over night in a local B&B, arriving early evening on Sunday. We asked the B&B for a local restaurant and they booked a table at Le Brigandville. A short walk to the restaurant and we were given a lovely table on the terrace. Food was excellent, not hurried and no real long waits, just right. Starters were excellent, Phad Thai salad and a salmon mousse. Main courses were fish and chicken, both very nice. Desserts were tartes, Citroen and apple, both very good. All in all, an excellent meal and very reasonably priced.Thank you very much, my English is bad but I'm very happy that you have a good time!!FM

Recommended by a friend who lives nearby we went to this beautiful place. It is not only a restaurant but it is also a hotel. We've only been to the restaurant. I would say it is a fine dining place. There is a terrace opened during summer and on colder days one can dine near the fireplace in their completely renovated dining room. The food is French, made entirely in their kitchen, using only fresh seasonal products they buy in Rungis market. They treat you almost like royalty and the food is superb. This is a place I just love to go to and unwind and relax.Thank you so much for your feedback. This is a very valuable reward for us. Best regards.

I was in Dourdan for 2 weeks and this was almost a daily stop for a beer or two before dinner. Very friendly owners and locales. Also, many nights, they serve little "tapas" that are Portuguese in nature! Also ate lunch here once and that was also very tasty and a good value. I had the daily special which was a Portuguese stew. It was HUGH. Had to take 1/2 home for lunch the next day.

came here for diner, and had a drink to wait until the kitchen opened. great service, great appetisers. however, after ordering the diner, the place had gotten full and the staff was clearly not ready for the masses... long waits, grumpy staff was the result. Still, this is a nice place with great intentions and good food. Just hope that it is a quite evening.

Took my colleagues here for a nice dinner since they have put up with me for two weeks here in "Dourdan" ! :) No one had been here before, so it was an adventure for all!Execute summary : the food and service were just perfect! From start to finish everything was above average! I especially loved my Plat (main course) which was a beautifully prepared Lamb "Roll" (think a roulade or rolled up lamb piece) perfectly cooked to medium - medium rare ("Rosie") with an amazing pan sauce, some fresh perfectly cooked vegetables. We started also with the Foie Gras -- that comes with Sauternes! Perfect! Awesome bread! Great little "snack" tray (no idea what was on it) at the start w/ our Aperitifs (I had a Kir -- falling in love with those) .. And the CHEESE course! They roll out this amazing set of perfectly ready cheeses -- maybe the best "Epouisse" (very soft "stinky" cheese that is amazing) I've ever had. With cafe -- they served this little dessert thing with some chocolates, etc. ! This is a must eat for a special occasion! All my French colleagues also agreed maybe one of the best meals they've had either in the area!
