Quite small, but does exactly what it says on the tin. Pizza. Staff are good, even customising my pizza as the menu stated it had egg on it, and I can't quite get around the idea of egg on my pizza. Great value for money too.

The Place to Be
Given the location, it's probably the best restaurant 10 miles around. However if you are on holidays nearby, I'd probably head to St Malo/Cancale for a nicer experience. The food was good, but there was always something that was not quite right. For the price we paid, that was acceptable, but given the choice, we would not come back. The service was cold at the beginning, but warmed up as the night went along.Seems they don't get many tourists as the waitress flagged us while serving the appetizer "So you're spending a week end in Brittany?" (got the impression everyone else in the room were locals).Ok, down to the food:They have several menu, from 23 to 60+We hadAppetizer: Terrine de chevreuil (game pate)The pate itself was very good, well seasoned, nice flavour. However it was served with some green salad with average sauce, 2 slice of smoked duck breast that felt totally out of place, and some curry powder on the side that didn't look right. My wife had a terrine de cabillaud saumon (cod/salmon pate) which was absolutely delicious. Not sure why, but it actually tasted of crab, so it made a very nice plate for just 13 EUR.Main: Gigolette de pintade farcie aux champignons (it's a kind of chicken leg stuffed with mushroom). The stuffing was the highlight, packed with flavors. The rest was just ok: the chicken skin was not crispy enough to be eaten, and it was served with a sauce that we both did NOT like (which was very disappointing).I had a fondant au choclat for dessert, very good but too sweet. The bill came under 52 EUR for:* 1 glass of wine* 1 soft drink* 1 menu (3 courses) @23 EUR* 1 appetizer + main a la carte (13+11)* 1 coffeeOne last note: the music was really not appropriate for a restaurant that pretends to be French gastronomic: mainly salsa/south american.

We had a really tasty meal at the Bretagne - the Fruit de Mer starter was very generous and the fish main course was very well cooked and was delicious. The restaurant overlooks the bay but doesn't have a great ambience - probably really good for a group meal.

This is a fun casual spot that provides ultra fresh oysters (shucked in front of you), near the ocean in a very informal street side setting. Enjoy a bottle (or demi-bouteille) of muscadet or the award winning Breton cider. They also have mussels but we stuck to the oysters, you can select small, medium or large. Good spot and only a 20 min charming drive from Mont Saint Michel

This is probably the busiest place to eat in Dol (there's a limited choice) as many hotels recommend it. When we went there the stressed staff showed us to the subterranean dining room which was actually good as it wasn't so smoky and hot as the main dining area. Plus, the outside was like a kids' playground with little ones running round shouting whilst parents smoked. In fairness, we hadn't booked. The food was OK but nothing special - my steak was served rare (good job I asked for well done or it would still be chewing grass, but I know what the french are like) and the service slow.An interesting place for architecture. Oh, you have to ask for the bill then pay at the till, so beware.

Dined here twice in a recent visit in May. On both occasions the food was very good and the service excellent. Very reasonably priced also.

We've been coming here for the last 15+ years, and it's our favourite by far. The staff are still the same, friendly and serving great food at a very reasonable cost. Entertainment is supplied by the parrot and the whole ambiance is delightfully different. Also an obviously popular with the locals, always a good sign.Well worth a visit.

A Gem of a restaurant off the main street but as usual food & service were excellent. 4 of us ate the plate of the day and bill with wine was 75 euros. If you are in the area get there early as it fills up with locals very quickly.

This restaurant is simply outstanding, from the incredible service, the charming atmosphere to the stunning dishes. We had seen the restaurant from the road and something about it seemed special. We were not wrong. We drove by at lunch and booked a table for that evening. Greeted by Romain, we just knew this would be an experience. We opted for the three courses, combined with the wine choices. The amuse bouche was a quenelle of fois gras dusted with cocoa on an onion tart - wow. The starters we had were the sander with raw vegetables and the beef marinated in calvados. Each course was described in charming detail by Romain's partner as were the wines. The starters were amazing. Main courses of Hake ( the fish of the day) with fermented vegetables and lamb with puy lentils was simply a triumph. The hake had accents of citrus and the vegetables a wonderful taste and texture. The lamb was melt in the mouth delicious. We opted for cheese for desert and were delighted to be given a panna cotta of goat's cheese with an orange powder, hazelnut crumb with crispy mustard leaves. Again adjectives fail to do the food justice. The dishes are a work of art for the eyes, however the true art is that the flavours are magnificent as well. A winning combination. Having eaten in some of the best restaurants around the world, this is up there with them. We wish Romain and team the very best. You deserve it !

Our host recomended this jewel of a restaurant and made a reservation for us (which is advisable, even on a weekday). The food was great, the atmosphere cosy and vivid, the service attentive. The view on the ocean was fantastic especially during sunset. A perfect evening, thank you!
