We had a really delicious meal here. The service was great and the place totally accessible for wheelchairs. My only slight criticism would be that it was a little pricey and that there wasn't a huge choice but what we had was lovely. We particularly loved the aperitif called Clairette de Die. We would certainly go back there if we found ourselves this way again.

We went full of hope and expectation after reading glowing reviews of the restaurant and having visited it under previous owners over the last 15 years. However, we were very disappointed. The white wine was served warm and too much salt was used in the cooking. My husband, a hamburger connoisseur, rated his dish 'ordinary'. The rest of has had the enchiladas which were acceptable. We will not be going back soon.

If you are looking for something different than the usual restaurants in the region, thereâs a good chance that you find it in Vesc. The food is original, not so straightforward and really good. The ambiance is relaxed, with very friendly and competent servers. The interior is like a vintage collection, with plenty of objects to discover.

Visited again recently, the food as usual was excellent, the service warm and friendly if a little slow. No doubt this was an indication that everything was cooked fresh to order. A medaeival castle set on a hillside, who needs to rush? I recommend booking to ensure a table.

Yes the food is of very good quality, no problem about that. The only problem, is that with each interaction you have with the owner (who is sometimes serving you), you feel like you are bothering him. He will not be rude, but he will simply always try to be avoiding and terminating the interaction he has with you. It is very clear that this jobs now bothers him, he is not really interested in his customers, and pretends (poorly) to be friendly at the same time as he's trying to leave you as quick as possible. Even if he asks you a question to be polite, he won't listen to your answer and always be gone doing something else. This results in a very unpleasant feeling that you are almost annoying him by being in a restaurant and forcing him to interact with you. Again, he is friendly, but completely fake and once you notice that it's just not nice.I'm not going any more because of that reason.

La Barigoule was recommended to us by the owner at our B & B (Le Mas de la Lance) and it turned out to be one of our favorites in France. The food and service were outstanding. The hostess (one of the owners we think) was very welcoming, gracious and attentive during our dinner. We very much enjoyed the food and wine! To top it off I left my hat on the chair when we left. We returned to Dieulefit the next morning and stopped by the restaurant where the hostess was absolutely delighted to return it to us. Very charming people and restaurant!

One of best restaurants in Dieulefit - just opposite to the Maison de la Ceramique. Outside dining on the patio during the summer. They specialise in large kebabs of prawns or lamb (they are better than they sound - see photos). Choose a table closer to the main building away from the road that can be a bit noisy.

It was only after we had chosen to eat here that we realised we had been in another 'au Bureau' some days earlier. This pleased us as we had had an excellent experience. The service was good despite a very 'enthusiastic' waiter who bounced every utensil off the table. The second waiter was efficient and friendly. We would certainly recommend for value and quality of food as well as a very extensive menu!

Restaurant et bar comprenant une cave à vins ( a consommer sur place ou a emporter) , endroit conviviale et chaleureux !
Fresh food simply prepared and perfectly cooked. Portions pleasingly large. Friendly people; colourful, relaxing decor. Menu short but very well put together so something for everyone whether just coffee and 'macarons' or superb garlic-crusted steak. Small delicatessen and wine-cave attached.Note: toilets downstairs and part of the eating area is up a step.

This young person of restaurateurs receives you in a warm-hearted and convivial frame tinted with a top of exoticism advantageous for escape the time of a lunch or a dinner in family or between friends.n a dinnerware in local pottery, the leader offers yo
Highly recommended for good service, excellent food and atmosphere. Vegetarians catered for, and gluten-free was understood and catered for too. My husband declared the ravioli salad and his steak to be great, my fish stew was tasty. Worth ahead booking to get a table, they were full when we ate on a Tuesday evening.
