The service in this place is absolutely appalling. The staff clearly donât want to be there. As far as food goes itâs hit & miss. My husband order a mixed fried seafood!!!! Really donât.... unless itâs for comedy value. Everything must just be thrown into the pan together. Some of the pieces couldâve been bounced off the ground it was so over cooked and some of the pieces had been coated & fried whilst still in their shells!!!! So given that there are MANY MANY restaurants around Iâd advise you to just find somewhere else to be honest. The drinks were nice and cold though .... when we eventually got them.

This place does not look much from the outside but inside it is ok. If the weather is nice then climb the stairs to the roof where you can sit and enjoy your coffee. Drinks and food were reasonable and I would recommend this place to anyone.

This place is amazing for gluten free diners. They have a separate kitchen and a separate part of their menu for gluten free meals. I had the gnocchi which was delicious, and came with gluten free bread and bread sticks! I was so impressed. My friends also really enjoyed their meals and the staff were really friendly. Also very close to where we were for Lake Garda so would definitely recommend this place.

There is a lot more variety here than most Desenzano restaurants. Service very personal and friendly in a low key nice way. Food superb....try the prawns or the sea bass, pasta and burger looked good too. House white wine the best we've had here. Overall our favourite restaurant in the area and reasonably priced.

We arrived at this restaurant last night for dinner at 8.30. We were very well looked after from the moment we walked in. Our waiter recommended a beautiful wine to accompany our meal and looked after us from start to finish. I had scallops to start and pork for main. My partner had cold meats and beef fillet. All were cooked to perfection. The decor is gorgeous and the view of the lake is wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for beautifully cooked food and great service. 10/10.

Behind the captivating front, a not-so-good gastro-pub. We might have been unlucky, but we didn't feel happy with our experience. The landlord was kind and cheerful, illustrating the "typical" home-made pastas (looking a bit dry and dusty on that demo tray), uncorking the wine and letting us taste it (not bad at all). However, our orders came in too charred to be truly palatable: it was true of the meat, the fish and even the grilled vegetables. The other patrons seemed happy with their orders, although I don't know what they were. Oh well...

Desenzano is full of touristy trap style eateries but this small, friendly and characterful trattoria bucks the trend. We had some superb fresh hand made pasta (I had tagliatelle with hare, my wife with porcini) - excellent quality and presentation - great selection of wines even though the house wine (a local gropello) itself was perfect. Really friendly and attentive service from Margherita the owner. Will return for sure next time in the area!

We ate here twice during our week's stay the hotel. Picturesque setting on the outdoor terrace overlooking the lake. The food is excellent and well-presented, with dishes we've not experienced before in Italy. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. The bill came to more than other local restaurants we tried but worth it for the dining experience. Hotel residents get a 10% reduction except on Saturdays. Definitely off the beaten path. Don't even ask me how we found it. Thank goodness for navigation. This is a very simple place but we enjoyed a fabulous meal on their patio. The owner was so friendly. He brought us some of his special olive oil that he produces. We enjoyed it with our meal. The salad was amazing as well as the steak and pasta. Simple but delicious. Great value. What a fantastic meal. We went for the taster menu. The food was exceptional with my favourite being the veal tongue.The staff were attentive and personable. We asked for a wine recommendation and after a few questions the young waiter hit the spot. The view matched the food and we loved the experience.Couple of suggestions....It was really hot, and there didnât seem to be any aircon... suggest a few fans to keep the air moving... the staff did very well to stay focussed despite the heat.Do something about the millions of tiny flies around the grass area. We are glad we sat inside.
