The place is a beautiful rocks beach and this is the cheapest option, anyway It is a tapas restaurant, the beers are cans and the food is ok but expensive for what you eat. Frozen fish and a poor offer. The service is ok.

Es Taller is the converted mechanic's garage of Valldemossa set back away from the busy streets in the centre of town. It is full of light, surrounded by greenery, with views of the mountains above from the sunny terrace. The vibe is very down to earth. Y
Super friendly and helpful staff squeezed us in even though they were very busy. Food was incredible and portion sizes were perfect. We were able to try four or five dishes and they were all fantastic. Lovely waitresses and very cool interiors. Highly recommend. Hope to return!

Xelini Restaurant âTapasâ Restaurant located in Deia (Mountain town located in Mallorca). The best local and Mediterranean cuisine. Xelini Restaurant is situated in a property which is 130 years old. The tasteful decor together with the stone walls and wo
We had really great local food and wine at this place. A number of smaller dishes or tapas made a great evening with friends and family. A bit busy which made the service a bit inattentive and the desserts were not interesting. But the food was absolutely fantastic!!Gracias y lo sentimos lo del servicio.

The most popular venue in town and open all year when all other places are closed. Wonderful menu del dia. Excellent value. Can eat downstairs, in the bar or out on the terrace. Highly recommended. Go, go, go!

A hidden gem at the foot of the well-known Sa Foradada; where you can enjoy a traditionnal mallorcan food, not forgetting, of course, the famous âPaella a las brasasâ while admiring the stunning landscape offered by this unique location. The restaurant is
The venue is stunning, the approach down a long donkey track fuels your appetite. However the food did not match expectations. We do not eat shellfish so our choices were limited, however we found a few tapas style starters to share. The bread was stale, the tataki Tuna was sashimi. The peppers was literally a huge plate of seared oily capsicum without imagination. Desert was a choice of watermelon, which we chose, otherwise a choice between 2 store bought cornetto ice cream cones. Brought to the table in their packaging for you to choose..... Nah! That just doesnât cut it.

To be helpful rather than out of preference, I decided to dine early as I've been a "solo" diner this week and (though I've been made so very welcome at each place I've eaten) I'm aware Deia is popular and taking a table puts pressure on the restaurant even if I haven't loitered after my meal. I'd walked up past Sa Vinya the day before and thought there would be a cool (ish) breeze & good views. There is a wall along the potential view with a couple of tables at the far end that have a bit more of the view but, if you look up, you can see the mountains from most tables. (The same wall will protect from stronger breezes but perhaps eating would be inside then) It's been a very hot day & hardy a breath of breeze, which no one can control of course, but I think it might have helped if the parasols (no sun) were down. I had a communication/language difficulty (unusual for me) when I gestured & asked about it..... . I was the only person there at the time ... which also felt strange.... and I suppose I felt it might have simply been preferred if I weren't there at all.My young waiter was likeable, polite, attentive, well presented and seemed nice but overall unenthusiastic... lacking that little bit of energy... perhaps he was pacing himself for the busy evening to come... which I can also understand! Not as much vegetarian choice as I'd hoped for and I knew I didn't want to just have the Gnocchi of which I'm not keen.... so I had a spicy potato starter which was lovely. Then I went on to the Gnocchi but what can you say about Gnocchi.... the first couple of mouthfuls... or three or four... are lovely BUT you're then working your way through a fairly stodgy food that is tasting exactly the same all the way to the finish. That's the same anywhere so not the fault of Sa Vinya but it's not going to encourage me back.... sadly I'll find somewhere else for my husband and my friends arriving tomorrow (not vegetarian). It's not in my nature to be critical so as positive words I'd just suggest a more exciting choice for vegetarians (who dine with their non vegetarian friends) and a bit more liveliness from the staff (including the kitchen) even if it's early... they are setting the scene and whatever happens at that point is the impression diners (or, indeed, a solo diner) takes away with them! The tables and area were clean & attractive & the food well-presented... shown here against the lovely Geraniums alongside some of the tables. Sorry though, I just felt it hadn't reached it's potential, especially compared to each of the preceding places.

A year since we visited but no drop in quality. All aspects great. The chef, without doubt, stupendous. The staff friendly but so professional, the ambience, perfect. Amazing that the standards have been maintained for a quarter of a century, but thankfully they have. Roll on next year.
