Nestled along a natural harbor on the Indian Ocean, Dar es Salaam is a multicultural city, home to African Tanzanians, Arabic and South Asian communities, British and German expatriates, Catholics, Lutherans and Muslims. We love Bella Napoli. The location is great, you can sit inside or in the garden. Good for kids as there's a little play area. Service is usually great downside - insisting on cash or charging a percentage on credit card transactions.

Mediterranean Restaurant offering dinners dishes that encompass the region, from Morocco to Turkey.
Iâve been going to Two OâSix since they first opened, but they never felt âsettledâ. Finally, the last three times Iâve been there, I feel theyâve now found their voice, their vibe, and their palate; thatâs incredibly exciting because it means theyâve now achieved the ability to offer consistently good dining. They have always identified as a wine bar, and now have food and flavors that complement their wine selection. In Dar, you canât beat the wines they have on offer by the glass, carafe, or bottle. Plus they have craft beer, and a well stocked bar - meaning everyone is happy. Whether a quiet meal for two (as was our case tonight), or a large group dinner (as weâve had in the past), speak with the manager and his team and theyâll be able to suggest what works best, and what is on offer. I also love it when a team remembers my name and uses it with ease - itâs a sign that they know and love their industry and job.I think Iâve found my go-to spot for a satisfying meal and/or perfect glass (or two or three) of wine. Thereâs a lot of deliciousness on offer, and portions of food are healthy enough to leave plenty to take home, in order to relive the experience the day after.Well done for upping your game, and for offering Darâs residents a serving of delicious options for dining out. It is on nights like these that you stand out as a firm first choice for dining out, knowing that you offer fantastic wine, food and experiences.Dear Kachez, First of, thank you so much for taking time off to write us such an amazing review- probably the most detailed review we've had so far. Needless to say, we are extremely grateful for your time. We have had our fair share of ups and downs since we've opened, and we are thankful for your loyalty through these times. We are even more happy to read that you have noticed the difference recently, both in our service and on our plates. The wines have been around for some time, but our real struggle has been to maintain a consistency on the plates.I am afraid however that you will have to ask for me the next time you come by because i cannot put a face to the name shown on your profile! However, your review truly means a lot to both myself and my team.We look forward to hosting you again in the very near future, and please, do not hesitate to ask either for me or my father. Kind Regards,S.

A fresh and exciting restaurant offering homemade top quality, tasty and fun food. a home from home with all the comforts
We came on Sunday and realised it was closing at 2pm so decided to get a takeaway cake. We were charged for packaging, which is fair (but not tsh 1,000 for foil, everywhere else you go itâs 500!) but the total for a slice of chocolate cake was tsh 18,000! Iâve marked this three stars as the cake was nice and it was our fault for not asking the price. But we had no idea it could have been that much!!

I'm not usually a huge fan of tapas bars, so Veranda was a nice surprise. The portions were actually much bigger than I was expecting--so bring an appetite and plenty of friends--and the atmosphere was lovely but also chill (read: not snooty, as some tapas bars can be). The food itself was delicious, with quite a big variety of both seafood and veg dishes, and the service was fine, no complaints there. Would go here again, and would recommend it to others.

Tanzania's first and only Revolving Restaurant. Enjoy tasty world cuisine with amazing views of Dar es Salaam city, the harbour and the Indian Ocean. Our bar lounge features the best cocktails in Dar.
We went to Akemi as a group for my daughter's graduation dinner, and they arranged quite an affordable set menu for us, with salads, starters and main courses and deserts. We really enjoyed the roast beef and Mediterranean chicken. Their pizzas and ice cream cake were big hit with kids and adults in our group. The centre features a space where we could cut our cake under the huge chandelier and take some pictures. It was in all a brilliant night.

For more than 15 years the Karambezi Cafe has been serving the East African coast with fine seafood and continental dishes. Travel to Dar es Salaam and one of our thousands of friends will say "You have to go to the Karambezi". Our restaurant evolves and
I truly enjoyed the enthusiastic and well-trained waiters at this Café. The snack and coffee we had was great, and the Chocolate volcano was scrumptious.

My favourite reastuant in Dar es Salaam. I have been coming here for several years. It is kind of hard to find, but well worth it. Tell the taxi or Uber driver that it is near the "Twitter Bar" and they will know right where to go. The local artwork is amazing. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is very cozy. I happy that you have been impressed with our establishment and all that goes with it. Most importantly our food and services. We will maintain the good standards and the excellent quality of our food. Wishing you the best in your travels and look forward to serving you again soon. Cheers.
