Restaurant La Pointe des Almadies is an outdoor restaurant that overlooks the sea. Specalized in PAELLA and seafood
I couldn't afford to dine here but wanted to stand on the westernmost tip of the African continent. I was stood on the rocky beach eating places to my left and right. Waves strangely calm with a menacing streak. The souvenir handmade artisans stalls arranged in a cul de sac just off the ocean behind the little strip of sand I cannot recommend highly enough. Here I found my most prized souvenir to remember my sojourn to these parts. Next to the stalls is a large standing space for vehicles. Soft billowing winds, thatched huts & beautiful handicrafts made my day. Hello Americas!

I was at Noflaye Beach restaurant for dinner with my crew. I enjoyed the well done fish for dinner with rice and vegetables. Great view of the ocean with play area for the kids. Free wifi. Middle price.

Ate here with business colleagues, based upon trip advisor ratings. Place has nice decor, and good music. Service is also quite good, the place picked up about 9:00pm. Menu had a broad selection, albeit only in French language.Took the beef carpaccio upon recommendation of people on here, follow by the duck Brest. Both were great. The cheesecake for dessert came out frozen...twice, so that's a big fail on their part.Everyone enjoyed their meals, and all left happy. Fast forward 3hours, and I am clearly sick from the food...don't know what it was, but something there got me. It's obviously the exception to the rule, as people enjoy this place, nonetheless need to flag this up.Had it not been for this, I would give it 4 of 5 star rating.

We lived opposite and decide to try this location after hearing great reviewsWe sat next to the pool. It was quiet, clean and no mosquitos. We had 1-1 cocktails which was strong We ordered 2 entrees - cerviche, mussels and ravioli with squid. The courses were served fast, food was flavoured and well plated. Although it was pricer than other restaurants this was worth a visit once a while for a good treat

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. We stopped in for lunch on the recommendation of our hotel and were charmed by the decor and the location of the restaurant. The staff was very friendly and put us at a table overlooking the ocean and
Great spot to sit with a cold beverage and enjoying the view of the Atlantic. Very close to the western-most point on continental Africa, and the dramatic environs donât disappoint. Watching the surf break over the rocks at sunset is definitely recommended.

Make sure to call and reserve a table in advance on weekends as it was packed inside and outside on Saturday evening. Friendly staff, quick service, tapas are delicious. Most amazingly tender steak. Located near the state house, not easy to find so make sure you have it on GPS if you are taking a cab.

This was not my first time at Alkimia restaurant. The quality of food and menu is definitely worth a visit. The service although good was a little bit slow. Recommended.

Consider your restaurant as your second home. Simplicity and convenience, these are our priorities. Come with friends, family, and enjoy the beautiful landscape by the sea, overlooking the island of Ngor. Enjoy the freshness of our fish caught by local fi
It's a nice place to watch people and the beach/harbour.Food is nice, but portions are too small for the price; only French is spoken. Service is on the slow side.

Over-priced but ok food. It has a small restaurant-like section (serving steak and other dishes) attached to another small cafeteria section (serving pizza and coffee-shop items). It charges around 15⬠for a steak of local beef, which I believe is overpriced for what they serve. The service was not that good either. At 4pm they closed the restaurant section and we were asked to move to cafeteria section.
