This restaurant is just round the corner from the main attractions of Eu, very close to the central square, Cathedral and Castle. It is, as its name suggests, directly opposite the post office, so that if you canât find it, you need just ask for âLa Posteâ. The restaurant is pleasantly decorated in deep red and tends to fill up with locals as its menus represent very good value. The basic âformuleâ costs just 12.50⬠for three courses. The first is a help yourself buffet including many different salads, charcuterie, marinaded fish plus fresh bread and butter, almost a meal in itself. There were some six or eight main courses and the same number of desserts to choose from; I had the poached trout with lemon sauce and was offered duchesse potatoes, chips or rice as accompaniments. Desserts were cheese, various tarts & pies or crème caramel. Everything was attractively presented and service was speedy and attentive. At 12.50⬠(£9) I felt this was a real bargain. There are obviously also several more pricey menus for those with more sophisticated palates and/or larger wallets than mine. Noted: the single dishes may work out no cheaper than the 3-course menus.I may also add in conclusion that the toilets were nicely decorated in pale blue with seaside motifs, large and spotlessly clean.

The restaurant The College is a traditional restaurant, located in the 3 cities sisters , Eu , Seas and the Treport and the gates of the B have Somme. We work with fresh produce , mostly from local producers. All preparations of our menu are made ââin our
Eu is a small village where ti's hard to find a restaurant which serves fresh affordable food in a cosy atmosphere. Le college has that all, very friendly people who prepare and serve the food with passion. They also make at least a friendly efford to speak another language. We had a great time. Try all the different desserts, JUMMY!

Chosen by my daughter-in-law on the strength of the ratings given on this web site we arrived as a family group that included a baby.. We were grudgingly shown to a table at the back of the first floor restaurant that involved carrying a baby buggy through the the crowded ground floor room, up a narrow staircase and through fellow diners. Service was slow, servile and, unusually for a French restaurant, they got the order wrong. I was served the worst kir I've ever tasted. Clearly they realised that we were unlikely to return and didn't need to bother. They were right, I'd need to be pretty desperate to eat there again.

Arrived early to the restaurant, 7pm to making sure that I'll be well served...As a fine gourmet I selected the scallops menu, which was described as a top choice.Disappointments arrived quicker than the dishes, the appetizer was a poor blend of salty fish with salmon. Followed by a over cooked mussels and little portion of scallops (what a shame a it were super over cooked) and then nothing... Waited half an hour for nothing, remainder to the maître d that I'm waiting for the main course and nothing...Finally I lost my appetite and left the restaurant, what a shame, i picked that restaurant due to TripAdvisor reviews, bad experience you are alerted!

A little off the beaten track (on the way to the free funicular) we were pleased to find this less busy place and our granddaughter was glad she didn't have to eat fish! We opted for mussels anyway and they were tasty... the decor is quirky, the server cheerful and the washroom clean. A great find.

We where recommended by locals for a nice dinner . See you can trust the locals for a good place to dine. A friendly a good services , as we were late not all of the food was available. But the evening suggestion of fillet of Colin in lemon sauce was superb. The dessert of local home made ice crème are divine.

Le Treport has a sizeable selection of tempting looking restaurants along its harbourside. Ignore them all and continue to the end, turn the corner and instead choose this small restaurant opposite the casino. The â¬17.50 menu (note: only available before 21.00) is stupendous value. We started with fish soup - a generous portion and properly hot (so often its served tepid and the cheese doesn't melt). We followed with fresh and succulent skate. Desserts were also delicious. As the meal was so cheap we treated ourselves to a more expensive bottle of wine than normal; picking the Quincy. This was absolutely gorgeous sauvignon blanc at its best and a perfect accompaniment to the fish we had chosen. As we walked back to our hotel we noticed that although our restaurant had been packed, none of the competition down the harbourside was more than half full. That tells you everything.

Went here together with my parents in law and our two small children. The service was oke and the waitress friendly. The portion of mussels quit big and tasty. The White house wind (Sauvignon Blanc IGP Pays d' Oc) was well balanced and tasted great with the moules frites! My wife ordered entrecôte, a big portion tasty meat. The price was reasonable. If you go there for drinks only you have to be willing to pay â¬3,70 for 0,33 ltr Stella Artois. And soft drinks go for â¬3,40.
