The duck was tasty, the wine marked up beyond its worth. A very noisy restaurant hard to hear across the table. The place has a nice atmosphere in general but I want to be able to talk and it was a challenge. No bread with the meal and a plate of thick chips to share was so light on I think it was for 1 person. The dessert of apple tart tartine was metallic in flavour (cold and tasted like it had sat in the pan for a long time). Overall an average experience for a meal where we drank little and 2 of us only had main course it still cost us almost $60 a head

We visited Haus several times during our few months near by. The pancakes were amazing each and every time. And the eggs florentine were great as well! We did visit on one occasion and ordered scones for a friend however all three scone plates delivered were under cooked and needed to be sent back. They were replaced by staff however the ones that came back were better but still werenât great. The waitress did mention she would speak to someone and in turn the supplier after she looked at them. Overall we loved Haus and would still return and recommend. Definitely would revisit if we found ourselves staying in the Adelaide Hills again. My love of Napoli style pizza drew me here and I was not disappointed with the food - fantastic stuff, turned over super quickly. Nice atmosphere and service, too. Very much recommended!

As can be discerned from the title, I was less than overwhelmed by George, but nothing was amiss. It was a quiet Thursday. I had the anti pasti, Rather too much for one, the arancini was good and freshly cooked, the fish was also good but the rest was standard stuff. Nice olives.The duck orzo main was also substantial and was tasty, plenty of duck and a good selection of veg, the pickled small onions were a bit overpowering. I had wine by the glass. The riesling was good but the cabernet sauvignon from Coonawara was outstanding. It does have some sediment, suprising for a 2016 wine. Service was good.

Have been to breakfast on two occasions and each time was really good. Very generous size dishes so if small appetite maybe ask waitress. Have seen other people eating pasta which looks amazing too also large serves. Choices on menu good, staff are smiley and efficient, cost effective so can recommend.

Booked this restaurant for a surprise dinner for my mother's birthday and we were not disappointed. Excellent service from all the staff and the food was exceptional. Really recommend it. Great artwork around the restaurant, great selection of wines and food that is just divine. Treated my Mum and overseas and interstate guest with great knowledge of the local produce too.
