Upon entering this gave the impression of being an upmarket restaurant however our experience was entirely to the contrary. The staff were unfriendly and offhand. The pasta was dried out as was the small amount of sauce which just stuck to the pasta. Some of the pasta was actually crunchy suggesting that it had been cooked previously and reheated. There were only two tasteless tiny marble sized meat balls. One member of our group only had one meatball. Very little was eaten by each person. The next course consisted of two small egg sized rolls of vbeal containing some sort of filling plus a serve of particularly oily potato pieces. For sweets I had a small piece of very dry fig tart without any cream, custard or icecream. After so many lovely meals recently in Sicily and Calabria this meal was a disgrace. I have never before had occasion to write such a damning review of a restaurant. I have had better meals at cheap ordinary cafes and grills. I cannot fi9nd one positive thing to say about the meal which is without the worst restaurant meal I have ever had in my quite long and well travelled life.

If you're after a typical Calabrian restaurant, you could do a lot worse than this place. The food was fine and made use fresh, seasonal ingredients. However, I would argue that in this part of the world that's to be expected. Likewise with the house wine, which was also good.If you're hungry and tired, stop here and eat your fill. If, however, you want something a bit more special, keep looking.
