Great restaurant near the city and with a great atmosphere and very familiary.Portuguese food is great and at the Alpendre is even better the quality of the food is incredible and very tasty food.Quality-Price amazing.Thank you to all the team and hope to come back soon.

If you will be hungry after kayaking, Penzinhos restaurant is the right place. Good meat on grill and also pasta was not bad. For Courve they gave us some cheese which was really really delicious.

Restauran is converted from a wine cellar. Well decorated. The garden is fantastic. I don't remember the name of the foods that are all in Portugese. But i can advise you to visit this lovely restaurant and eat their delicious food. Service is good.The manager told me that they also have accomodation in their boutique hotel. I may stay next time.

Pleasant service and clean restaurant. Even though we came very late at night, service was still very attentive and our waiter was helpful as we didn't know much of the menu. It didn't hurt that he spoke English well! Will come back. WiFi is available.

I have eaten here several times. The service is always good and the food is excellent. My suggestion is the "bacalhau com broa" which is cod with bread. The prices are cheaper than in Lisbon. Honestly, on my top 10 restaurant of all time, for this level. Extremely recommended.

First of all, the place. A XVIIIth century builing, beautifully located near the town center, excellent decoration with old photos of the town, river fishing artefacts and an overall rustic vibe. Then the service and general kindness of the owners and staff. And finally the food. Both the fish (codfish) and the meat (black pig) were amazing. A great place to eat in one of Ribatejo's nicest towns.

A English friend and I visited this restaurant with 8 Portuguese friends about 3 weeks ago.The staff were attentive, friendly and very pleasant as was Chef Victor himself. The food was absolutely superb! Perfectly cooked, presented and seasoned, very reasonably priced and the portions were generous.I would highly recommend this place to anyone.We will be returning again.... and again!Thanks for your review and we try to make better and better
