This is an excellent restaurant that is recently opened (7 months according to the chef) with not only delicious food, but friendly staff and a great environment. While the interior is not excessively fancy and the exterior is discrete this was a fabulous place to enjoy a 3 course meal for about €50

Went here yesterday. Greeted with welcoming smiles and English speaking staff. We had a large pram which was no problem at all for the guys that worked there. We were promptly seated and served with the up most care. The food was very very good but get there early as it gets busy it is obviously popular with the locals and for good reason!! Beautiful area too close to the river. We will definitely return.Thank you...

This was the first time I went to one of the Leon de Bruxelles, I ordered steak and fries from the menu but waitress came back and said they don't have it so I ordered fish and fries, fish was good and well cooked, fries was not what I expected from the famous Brussels fries but it was OK, salad bar was not so reach, I asked for the coffee flavor ice cream for dessert which was good. service was average and not bad. the price was reasonable and for a restaurant in France was good, decoration is nice, warm and friendly which I liked it. all together I got a good impression and I will take some of my guests to this restaurant in the future.

One of the nicest things about France is discovering that rare little gem of a restaurant, the neighborhood place that has a genius of a chef, a passionate owner and a dedicated staff. When you find a restaurant like that you want to keep it for yourself, but I just can't be that cruel.Le Ballon Voyageur might well represent the best quality / price ratio of any restaurant I know in France. I've been there twice now, have tasted all I could and have been amazed and delighted with every dish. The owner's wine suggestions, and the ability to drink excellent wines by the glass mean that every dish is perfectly accompanied; the setting is unique and agreeable; the service is excellent. If you have the good fortune to be anywhere in the area of Maisons Laffitte make it a point to eat here... and remember to reserve as far in advance as you can: although it's only recently opened, the restaurant has already become a favorite and is often booked solid.Hello, thank you very much for your kind comments. We are very delighted you appreciated our restaurant and look forward to seeing you soon at Le Ballon Voyageur. Kind Regards, Frantz

This restaurant, recently opened, is owned by a couple whose popular restaurant near the Bourse in Paris has been acknowledged for having the best fondue in Paris. In Eragny sur Oise they are recreating much of the same cuisine but set alongside the river which affords delightful views of passing barges. The cuisine takes you to a quaint mountain setting...offering a range of foods including raclette and fondue, along with platters of country sausage and hams, but also has a more refined choice of entrees as well. I enjoyed a wonderful fish stew served in a Marmite small casserole pot. My friends both had the special veal dish with cheese and ham.I forgot to mention we began the meal with a cocktail made from Chartreuse liqueur, a splash of soda and lots of mint.....just yummy. There is a wonderful garden for meals in warmer weather, but the dining room itself is warm and inviting. A friend just gave the restaurant a gift of a remote control "toy" barge which now has the place of honor in the center of the room. Old pictures of river life and barges adorn the walls.O Chalet is a wonderful place to visit and take a stroll along the Oise. The owners/chefs are ever present and delightful to talk with. It is worth a train ride or drive. Their website talks about how to get there: www.o-chalet.fr

Had a long lunch here earlier this week. We ate from the a la Carter and fixed price menus. Everything was flavoursome & delicious, prepared with a light touch. Service was attentive, if a little slow at times. Great wine list. Outdoor deck space will be lovely on a Summer’s evening. Really like that the chef walked the floor and spoke to her diners after service ended.

The restaurant is located in the center of Jouy-le-Moutier, in a charming oldbuilding made of stone. The restaurant was quite crowded but we could still maintain some privacy, which was quite appreciated. The food was good, even if the choice was not extremely large. The quality was excellent, and the dishes were not that pricey. Worth a visit, for the food and the atmosphere. You feel like in a village, just minutes away from Cergy!

The town of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine has the feeling of a harbor town, even though it's on a river. This little restaurant fits into that scenery and seems to attract a lot of locals. (Not sure how many tourists actually pass by the place). The menu offers standard Italian fare but the signature dishes are based on a very tasty bruschetta, and it is obvious that the proprietor takes great pride in the course. This is a delightful place for a yummy and refreshing Italian meal.

It's a nice enough restaurant, no particular atmosphere, food is good enough but over-priced for what it is. Not really at the level that you would expect from the reviews on this site.
