Bonjour, Je reçois sans arrêt des avis pour un établissement de Granville qui a le même nom que le mien. Il s'agit de la crêperie La Courtine 10, rue Cambernon 50400 GRANVILLE. Pouvez-vous faire le nécessaire? D'avance merci. Cordialement. Yves Adol
Four us us went for Sunday lunch in March 2019 at this very popular restaurant set in the park at the side of the River Charente. The location is beautiful, the food is good but not as spectacular as the location. The menu is plasticized and that might just tell you that this is a very popular tourist stop. The food is certainly not bad. There are daily specials and the menu is quite extensive. Well worth a try if only for the river setting.Dear Madam, dear Sir,Thank you very much for droping this very king report. We are very pleased that you enjoyed your sunday lunch in La Courtine and are looking forward to serving you again soon.Best regardsYves AdolOwner

This lovely 19th-century residence, featuring a more recent wing, welcomes its guests in the verdant showcase of its Respectful Garden, designed to preserve biodiversity. The setting is superb and during the high season, it can be enjoyed from the terrace
This restaurant is situated just outside of Cognac in a small chateau. The dining room decor is fun and quirky - it wasn't what we were expecting. The staff are immaculate, incredibly polite and very, very knowledgeable, particularly the young male waiter that served us. All three of us agreed that the food was absolutely delicious but goodness me, they were some of the smallest portions I have ever seen. The soup, for example was served in one of those big round dishes but with only a tiny, tiny little area for the soup in the middle - I doubt it would have been more than say 3 soup spoon full. It's not the cheapest place to eat so the portions, despite the lovely food, were disappointing. In any case we will return as that was the only fault with the place.

restaurant traditionnel français, travaillant des produits frais locaux (viandes, poissons et boissons). Ambassadeur du cognac, profitez d'un large choix du Nectar de notre belle ville sur notre agréable terrasse.
Even though it was a Saturday it also happened to be a public holiday, so everything, shops included was shut lunchtime. Options were limited. A troublesome encounter at a tourist café meant we were very stuck for ideas but Tripadvisor suggested the Astoria. And what a great little find it was. To look at from the outside it looks a bit like a pub, but as it was open we settled for a table outside. The staff were extremely friendly and helped with all the allergens, the food only helped to defy the initial look of the place. As others have mentioned the food was slightly hit and miss. The starters were exceptional, worthy of any restaurant, but the main dishes of confit duck were a touch heavy going, plentiful but needing a little more finesse. The desserts scored highly with the children. All in all deserving of custom, next time I would just choose different mains.

Friendly staff and good plat du jour menu. House wine was very good value. Issue which makes this less than top rating was that one of the starters, Concombre farci, used very bitter concombre, spoiling the starter and the Gazpacho was not very tasty. Service was slow but not a big problem as we were not in a rush.

Stopped for lunch. It was an exceedingly hot day (38 degrees) but we managed to get a table on the balcony with river views and a little breeze. We both had the set 28⬠menu. The starters were amazing we both had a chilled goats cheese Crème brûlée served with a red piment sorbet. This was followed by a beautifully cooked very rare steak and my wife had the Rolled Merlu main course. Dessert we both had the Moelleux au chocolat all beautifully presented and we chose a light very chilled Bordeaux rose wine. A superb lunch with very helpful staff who were attentive but discrete. We look forward to eating here again

Found this place by accident! Mid October, mid week, the service and food was excellent. Particularly fine was an entree of foie gras, very well presented with the addition of caramelised onion. The 'plat du jour' was rabbit, again excellently prepared and full of subtle flavour. One other point, the restaurant was full of French folk taking their lunch (plus the obligatory yank with a clear and penetrating voice, but hey, nothing's perfect). You will see from my choice of food that veggies and fellow travellers will get little comfort from me.Very much recommended!By the way, if you drink a little too much to drive then the Musee de Cognac is just down the road where one can doze in an informed way for a little while.

The menu consists of basically 4 dishes. Each one of them is just great. French service, French food, French atmosphere. Very authentic place - it makes you really feel the country, traditions, food and service. Greatly recommend!!

A gourmet restaurant in Cognac La Maison is a gourmet restaurant serving traditional & innovation cuisine, made with fresh products and enhanced by the Chef Pierre Dumas for you pleasure.
We had the good fortune to have a friend make a booking here for dinner. A reservation is absolutely necessary. Charming maitre dâ and perfect service although the lack of English made it interesting until someone thought to give us an English menu. That did not ruin our lovely meal. Each dish was thoughtfully conceived, beautifully presented and delicious. A memorable evening.Thank you Katie for your feedback ! We're glad that you enjoyed your meal at La Maison !Looking forward to see you again !PS : We have to improve our english, you're right and we are working on this ;)

Visited after a tour of a well known cognac house nearby. Based on recent reviews on Tripadvisor, we expected a delicious, unhurried lunch and were not disappointed. The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. They had English menus which made ordering a little easier. We had two different kinds of crepes and a salad, all very tasty. Extra plate for sharing, no problem. They have outside seating but we chose to eat inside on more comfortable upholstered chairs. A very pleasant lunch all around.
