Working this month in Ciudad Real I asked my local colleagues for recommendations and this was one of the places mentioned. My first visit I chose a white wine that was slightly fizzy and far too sweet but put it down to my bad choice. When I returned a few days later for lunch I specified that I would like a glass of white wine, as dry as possible. While not being as sweet as the first it was still not the quality I have come to expect in Spain. I found the menu very uninspiring and thought I would try a burger, imagining it to be homemade and possibly with some salad on the side. The French burger, with Brie, onions and foie in a toasted, slightly sweet bun, was not bad but it's perfectly round form with no rough edges led me to believe it could have been processed? While the meat itself was tasty the quality was rather chewy. I was disappointed that for 10⬠it came with just a few chips and no salad. I finished with a glass of red which would have been better if it had been room temperature and some rather ordinary cheese. Not somewhere I would hurry back to

I visited this restaurant with friend who lives local, my first time in Ciudad Real so i was very interested to see what it had to offer.Fairly hard to find in a park, but wow what a setting. We sat upstarts with a nice view of the lake/pond.Excellent ambiance with food to match, if you like eating out doors and BBQ food, then i highly recommend this restaurant.I am not sure how it would be in the height of summer with mosquito but for late summer/early Autumn, it does not get much better

We were taken to this great restaurant and it looked very elegant and had a great vibe to it. We were ushered to the downstairs part of the restaurant for lunch. We ordered some dishes to share and then a main each and dessert. The dishes were all delicious and well presented. You did not leave hungry. Highly recommended this bar/ restaurant if you are in Ciudad Real.

Ciudad Real likely has no better. The room is 'intimo', the waiter was the most attentive in weeks, the food was very good. Even when I asked for cheese, not on the menu as a dessert, it appeared in minutes.Rated the best in CR for good reason.

I was here for a wedding and so I didn't really research much into this place. Imagine my surprise when my friends brought me to this place. It's beautiful, the food is exquisite (not the regular run of the mill tapas that I've had for days), the sommelier was knowledgable.I love it. I just love how it's so beautiful inside, the food is so yummy and the atmosphere is just classy.

An average meal for a high price. There are better places in Ciudad Real other than this place. The quality of the food does not justify the price we paid. The ambiance was quite average as well.

Welcome to a new food experience.
When I was first told about this "university cafeteria" that is exactly what I expected: cafeteria food. I was wonderfully surprised by amazing quality of the food and the variety (both in the standard menu of the day as well and in the daily specials) - so far beyond cafeteria level! And all for an amazing price and very friendly/quick service. You only need to go there once and you'll be sure to come back any time you are in the area - I certainly have!Howdy,On behalf of CafeterÃa Derecho y Ciencias Sociales thank you so much for your positive feedback! It was also a pleasure talking with you as well. Best wishes and thanks for the CafeterÃa family you and your group! The CafeterÃa's family greatly appreciates your business and we are so happy to serve you.Hope to see you soon in the future!Sincerely
