Find out what European restaurants to try in Chevy Chase. Chevy Chase is the name of both a town and an unincorporated census-designated place (Chevy Chase (CDP), Maryland) that straddle the northwest border of Washington, D.C. and Montgomery County, Maryland. Several settlements in the same area of Montgomery County and one neighborhood of Washington, D.C. include "Chevy Chase" in their names. These villages, the town, and the CDP share a common history and together form a larger community colloquially referred to as "Chevy Chase".

A neighborhood Bistrot located in Cleveland Park that stays faithful to its French roots offering the best French dishes on this side of the Atlantic.
Sometimes a neighborhood place gets complacent but no La Piquette. Went on a very busy night and yet the food came out promptly, once an order was placed;don't be shy about flagging down any staff person...all responsive. Wonderful crusty bread and not overwhelming EVOO went well with country pate to start. Enjoyed white and red by the glass selections. On to Bourride, with a very fresh selection of plump mussels, a bit overcooked monkfish, octopus, and shrimp in a wonderful broth. Roasted duck breast was an ample portion and quite flavorful; while the assiette de legumes was quite satisfying although it was hard to tell in that it was consumed before I could reach in! Apple tart was marvelous as well the creme brulee. So come on over.

To really get a feel for a restaurant going on a major "eating out" day is not always the best to judge from. But in this instance it certainly was. Mother's Day eating out most places are a zoo and i imagine they were earlier in the day. We had a 7.00 reservation but somehow it never got to the restaurant and it appeared we would be without a table when we arrived. Samuel did a bit of checking and noted another party not keeping their reservation and we secured their table.Service was great with drinks and great bread to start. A bit of a limited menu which was understandable for the holiday crowds but plenty of choices to pick from. My wife and i had a codfish plate that was spectacular....quite tasty and well presented. My salad was a creation of Faro beans and spinach in a wonderful simple vinagarette. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake of which i could have had a few more of.....We were treated as if we were the only ones in the place and i assure we were not. I am adding this our list of must go places....you go too and you will not be disappointed. Nice and cozy and similiar to what you find in Paris withou the airfare!!!

K Town Bistro is a family operated restaurant nestled in the heart of Historic Kensington that serves a delicious assortment of French and American cuisine
My wife and I visited the K Town Bistro and found it to be a cozy, charming little restaurant in the Antique area of Old Kensington. The restaurant has only 13 tables. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. My wife ordered chicken marsala and I opted for the steak. Each was prepared perfectly and the accompanying vegetables were terrific. We decided to splurge and ordered 1 cheesecake with strawberries for dessert which we shared. It was extraordinarily good. If you are looking for an excellent meal in a delightful restaurant, you will not go wrong booking at the K Town Bistro.

I have a hearing disability, and when I arrived at Tavira on a Saturday night I realized that the main dining room was so noisy that I wouldn't be able to hear my guest. The gentleman in charge very thoughtfully organized a table in the bar area, which was great. And so was the meal, which that evening was a duck special. I've eaten at Tavira at other times and always found it excellent. What an amazing review! I really appreciate all your kind comments, I will be sharing this with my staff⦠Thanks again for coming and we look forward to see you next time !

New French restaurant run by chef Yannick Cam.
Our national trade association is headquartered in Bethesda. We held our annual Staff Appreciation Holiday Dinner at Bistro Provence in their private room on the second floor. Both the food and service was outstanding. It was one of the best group dining experiences I have ever had.

Last night was our first visit to Sfoglina, and it was my birthday, which my husband had mentioned when he made the reservation. All the staff wished me Happy Birthday. Nice!Enjoyed a creative cocktail and a superb meal with good chianti. My husband was thrilled at the selection of grappas. The ambiance: lovely and the staff attentive. Our meal was exceptional and worth the price. Look forward to returning for another special occasion.

This is a great place to take somebody for a nice leisurely lunch away from the busier areas of Chevy Chase or Bethesda. Formal service at a relaxed pace, though the food was a bit slow last week. (i think the dumbwaiter that brings food up from the kitchen was broken.)Decent sized lunch portions at a reasonable price, but if you are hungrier you'll want to add an appetizer which obviously inflates the bill quickly. Hate to say it, but a large free parking lot is definitely a bonus in that area.
