It is located in the province of Forlì-Cesena in the region of Emilia-Romagna, about 30 kilometres (19 mi) south of Ravenna. Cesenatico's port canal was surveyed and drawn by Leonardo da Vinci at the request of Cesare Borgia, as part of his plans to fortify the nearby town of Cesena.

To be honest, it was the air con that drew us in. There were so many restaurants near the famous canal; we were told about the wonderful fish on offer. We sampled 'fried fish' in 3 places, which was ok, but struck me as a tad lazy. Luciano's not only delivered a beautifully cooked Sea Bass, but also delivered on charm and atmosphere. Loved it..

We were in a hurry, and the staff were understanding and attentive to our needs. In minutes we got two very tasteful pizzas and a very nice caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella. If you are not that hungry, 2 pizzas for three people are enough. Recommended.

Great family style place right at the end of the beach close to the Grand Hotel Da Vinci and the beach by the canal end.Exceptional service very helpful for the children and great service generally. Superb pasta and fish.Nice wine list. Gets very busy during evenings.

This is high end fish at reasonable prices. La Buca has a great outdoor seating area right on the canal. We did not have a reservation but they seated us quickly. Our waiter was extremely helpful and friendly. La Buca has many raw fish dishes and two of us wanted the raw shrimp but two did not. We asked if the could have the shrimp grilled and they accommodated. The plate came with three different shrimp that were absolutely the freshest and sweetest shrimp. I ordered the orata cooked with the Cervia sweet salt. It came with snow peas and roasted potatoes. The orata was fantastic. My husband ordered a homemade pasta with botarga with raw shrimp. It was so favorful. Our friends ordered the fritto misto which was a huge basket of shrimp, calemari, and little fishes which was fantastic. They also ordered the John Dory. The John Dory was just a little bland and could have had a bit more flavor. I can not wait to go back.

First class top quality restaurant and bar right on the beach behind the Grand Da Vinci Hotel. Exceptional range of fish and shell fish, good wines and great service. Its a bit expensive but the quality shines through. One of the best in Cesenatico. Child friendly as well.Dear customer, when we receive such wonderful praise, all we can do is take a bow! Prepare to have your mind blown. I had a 9-course tasting menu with a wine flight to accompany. The food is incredibly imaginative and, of course, delicious. The service is likewise outstanding. Really one of the best, immersive, impressive, and personalized culinary experiences I have ever had. Thats where those Michelin stars come from.
