Para comer uma boa carne, denominadamente a costeleta, sem dúvida que o RodÃzio Beirão é uma primeira opção.Carne de 1ª qualidade, que é um gosto comer.Serviço esmerado, sem excessos, suficiente para o esperado.Boa sala, confortável, onde podemos estar descansados e degustar os pratos escolhidos.

We passed by accident on bank holiday afternoon. We asked for menu and prato do dia, which - owner wrote on table clothes - 12,5⬠for both seem to be ok for a pre-prepared Bacalhao Forno and long cooked vitela. The meals arrived with a small starter, olived and bread plus 1 liter pressao. Just typical Portugues fare, nothing exceptional.However the 12,5⬠were supposed to be for 1 person only. Absolutely untypical for the area (can be 5-7â¬/Person) and quality of food (nice but nothing really fresh prepared for us). So we had to pay 25⬠for our most expensive "prato do dia" ever and for mediocre food.Not to be repeated - BTW: "uma dose" meats are around 10-12⬠good for 2 persons I suppose plus the drinks we would have been better to share...

O restaurante é simples, porém com um atendimento ótimo. Muito prestativos. Tempero caseiro. Cardápio variado e com bom preço. Há estacionamento público na porta. Optamos em pedir "pratos do dia", pois estávamos no meio de uma viagem na rodovia e entramos na Cidade apenas para almoçar. Ofereceram cadeirinha para nossa criança e um doce no fim da refeição. No cardápio, até enguia é servida.

Ao passar por Castro Daire fomos ao TripAdvisor e encontrámos este restaurante. Com bom aspecto, pessoal simpático e atenciosos, comida boa e preços muito aceitáveis.Boa surpresa

Fica num 1º andar com acesso por uma escada bastante Ãngreme.Tinha-nos sido recomendado como sendo um restaurante com boa comida.Desilusão completa, que na qualidade dos produtos quer na confecção.

Prior to the main three course meal we were served an abundance of a vast and varied selection of "nibbles", from traditional Portuguese cuisine through shrip to grilled meat. In fact I think that the main meal was not even necessary!!!All food and drink was excellent as was the service. We have dined here on several occassions and have always eaten well. The quality is always of a high standard. Of the beaten track but well worth the trouble.

Had half a portion of the house barbecue ("churrasquinho"), which came with rice and oven roast potatoes. Everything was tasty, service was quick and staff are super professional (a big "hi" to Sandra, who managed to make my shy 3 y.o. actually laugh in front of a stranger). For dessert I had a fruit salad, also ok. The restaurant has a nice vibe, a bit fancy but relaxed at the same time. A local favourite.

Although this restaurant is recommended in several guides as a place to eat good basic typical portuguese food, I found that preparation is well below what I expected.Located just next to the A24 highway, near Castro Daire, this is a large restaurant with no atmosphere whatsoever with lack of light and a very basic decoration.The choice is quite small and based mainly on a beans rice either with smoked meat or with some fried vegetable pakura that is so course and thick that it looses all appeal very quickly.The rice is tasty but completely overcooked. I later discovered that they cook large quantities of it and it becomes more and more cooked until it gets to your table. Such a rice should be made fresh.Avoid if possible.
