Delicious food from quite an extensive menu. The deserts won the day for inventiveness and taste. The only niggle we had was the abruptness of the waiter. Maybe he was having a bad day? It made us somewhat uncomfortable. We felt that in general there was not a welcoming feel to La Verrerie apart from one or two of the staff. Shame when the food was so good.Dear Sir or Madame,Thank you for four coment. Please accept our apologies for the unease and abruptness of the waiter you felt during your dinner. We hope this will not stop you for coming again to La Verrerie.Best regards,

When they say cuisine maison here they mean it. The new chef since October 2018 is Moustapha Diouf and his cooking is inventive, seasonal and really well presented. Locally sourced vegetables were wonderfully infused with aromatic herbs and spices. A well thought out menu that had vegetarian options and really generous portions. Service with a smile and a three course dinner at â¬25 will ensure my return visit anytime!

This restaurant never fails. We have been several times and the food is always wonderful, perfectly prepared and beautifully served. The service is excellent and the atmosphere is always good, cosy in winter, cool and airy in summer, with a choice to eat inside or out. Order your meal and let the waiter choose the most appropriate wine to compliment it. This is definitely one of our favourite restaurants.

I visited with a group of 17 cyclists and our welcome could not have been friendlier. We were extremely well fed and loved the menu of local, homemade dishes. The chicken was all organic, the cheese was from another local organic farm and everything was plentiful, fresh and very, very tasty.I'd highly recommend it - the views are amazing too :-)

Really great tapas restaurant......make sure you book, it is incredibly popular and no wonder, the food is delicious, very quick service, lovely staff and good value. We had about 9 different dishes, beers, kids drinks, 2 desserts and only 70euros. Good atmosphere too.

I have reviewed this restaurant a few years ago but sometimes restaurants change and so do standards. I just had to review again! This restaurant's standards are still consistently high. (We visited three times in two weeks on this holiday) The food is excellent - delicious and exciting. Everyone is welcoming and helpful explaining the french food to us when our french wasn't up to it. The desserts are delicious!

The spirit of Salettes is also to be found in the plates. The cooking enhances the local and traditional products, of high quality, while being resolutely modern.
The staff leave a little to be desired, the food is good this time, though choice is limited and its not a patch on the quality of our last visit. Its still very expensive. The open fire in the living room was lovely but we had to light it ourselves. It still just misses this place, some modern style some old style which works well in the living room but elsewhere just misses.Dear Mr or Mrs, Thank you for your remark on our hotel.Iâm sorry you thought âstaff leave a littleâ, because we are paying a great attention to serve our clients. Be sure that from your message we pay more attention.Fire place is not lighted every time, but you just have to tell you would like to see it lightened and we do so. On the point of modern and old style in the hotel and the restaurant, even if that point is very subjective, in some part of the building that was easiest to have both style side by side than in others. In the restaurant, stone is the old style. In hotel rooms, some have more stones than others, but everywhere itâs an old building (13th century) with some modern layout. Looking at the building from now, we could forget that 20 years ago it was just remaining old stones with trees growing through ruins of an old castleâ¦

A great venue for lunch on a sunny summers day. We sat outside in the shade and soaked up the atmosphere of this very attractive village. We had been here 2 years ago and the impression it left us was just the same as back then.Very friendly and helpful service enhanced the meal experience. We found the set menu to be both creative and excellent value. My wife loved the cold beetroot soup and was tempted to ask for another portion. Main course and dessert were equally as good and we enjoyed discussing the chefs sources of local produce after our meal. It's difficult to point out any thing wrong. In fact one improvement over the last time was the addition of new smart indoor toilet facilities.

Donât be fooled by other restaurants locally that may appear more trendy. Go where the locals go. I have eaten here a few times over the years for lunch and it never fails to deliver. Good quality local food at very reasonable prices. Check out the recommendations of the day they are always value for money. A real gem in the heart of Tarn.

Dining on the terrace with delicious food from the locality, well worth a visit. The crab ravioli with basil was the highlight. We had the evening recommendation, veal served with a mushroom souffle, broad beans and garden peas all worked well with baby potatoes.A good wine list compliments the good food experience.
