We recently stopped for lunch at Era Ora Restaurant, which we found by chance and were attracted to the outer appearance of this restaurant. We were warmly welcomed and seated in the entrance dining area. There was another dining room in the back, where a buffet had been established for the lunch hour. The locale was nicely decorated and featured an enotec motif. Tables were topped with cloth placemats, a breadbasket with assorted types of bread and nice service ware. A radio station played music over the restaurant's audio system.There were several dining options to chose from; the buffet for a fixed price, a daily special menu with economical prices for the work force and a full menu, complete with two separate tasting menus. There was a balanced mix of both seafood and meat antipasti, primi (pasta course) and entrees. I started my meal with tagliolini pasta with porcini mushrooms. This was served in a cream sauce topped with lots of cheese. For a main dish, I had the baby suckling pig roast. This was a rolled roast, sliced and topped with gravy and served with roast potatoes and shallots. The roast was a little dry for my liking. My wife had the seafood tasting menu that included an antipasto of Monkfish, a pasta course of spaghetti with mussels and clams and a Tuna Hamburger served between two slices of eggplant. For dessert, there was torte made with three types of chocolate (milk, dark and white) served with an apricot sauce and blueberries. All was very good the portions were generous. I recommend Era Ora to the TripAdvisor community.

The restaurant is well above expectations that you might have when seeing it from the outside.The staff is outstanding in its courtesy and professionalism and the food, especially fish, is excellent. The problem lies in the too many TV screens showing different programs everywhere, accompanied by radio sound in the background. At times too loud at the point that we had to ask to lower it (which was done).If they would reflect on this bombardment of the client senses this could be a five points restaurant

My dining experience at Al Corso was sublime. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the bistec. The chef and wait staff were entertaining and provided many helpful recommendations. I will definitely return to Al Corso on my next trip to Venice and recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

First of lets say that the decor of the restaurant did not appeal to me. I thought the food would be cafeteria style and was expecting something very different than what i got. I had to taste difernt plates this where the best plates in order of great to excellent1. Octopus - primer platy2. Brenzino ( not sure if spelled correctly) 3. Risotto mushroom and vegetables 4. Past with huge clam ( don't know exactly what to call it) All four plate amazing. Great desert chocolate platter five different styles of chocolate in small sizes. Great food, absolutely magnificent service. Which as we know in italy is a disaster in most places.

Locale fuori dalla strada principale con comodo parcheggio. Arredamento curato e pulito. Soluzioni divertenti e pratiche come 'l'albero dei dolci'. Proposte di cucina molto accattivanti e prezzi corretti. Grande scelta di birre e di distillati sapientemente descritti e consigliati dal proprietario. Buon sottofondo musicale. Divorato solo un club sandwich superlativo. Un peccato essere in zona per lavoro solo stasera. Continuate così.
