Things to do in Cameron Highlands
We were looking for a nice restaurant where we could real Malaysian food, and also keep all members of group happy with "other" food choices. We tried a couple of the nearby top end hotels, but they only had staid western food. The restaurant wasn't listed on trip advisor so we were a bit dubious, but the menu was extensive, from beef rendang, satay, Singapore noodles, all the way through to Chinese and pizza and pasta. There is also a steamboat service and looked to be a dinner buffet as well.As soon as we sat down we were offered the special fruit juices, one was a strawberry and other fruit mix, the other straight strawberry juice. They were delicious! Fresh ripe strawberries were amazing. The rendang was great, rich coconut gravy, soft tender beef, one of the best I have had in Singapore or Malaysia. The satay was also exceptional, home made satay sauce, charred chicken, just right. The staff were helpful and friendly and great hosts. The restaurant decor is a bit dated, but once, you sit down, it all works really well.If we had another night here, we would go back, highest quality food we had in the highlands.
I got TripAdvisor to add this cafe as it really is great. friendly family run resturant with a mix of western and local food choices such as fish and chips and tomyam soup, noodles etc. we liked it so much we returned the following night. the area is heavily dominated by Chinese food so this was a nice change. highly recommend. they also so great coffee and pastries
Located within Strawberry Park Resort, Cameron Highlands, this restaurant serves good western and local Malaysian Cuisine (in my impression).I visited on 29 June 2019 at night and ordered Spagetti for a quick bite, as I was still hungry after an early dinner in town. They have a good range (menu) of food items and wines/drinks. The portion is quite generous and adequate for one person's appetite. If I should be visiting the Cameron Highlands and Strawberry Park Resort again, this is definitely my "go-to" restaurant for western food and local delights.
Arrived in Tanah Rata mid afternoon and very hungry after a long bus trip. Amsterdam cafe supplied us with a large, tasty and very reasonably priced pizza accompanied with excellent coffee. This was done very cheerfully and efficiently. I hope these guys do well.

Overpriced with bad quality food. Coffee was tasteless! Flies are everywhere, feedback to the waiter and the answer was âwe are using chicken drops as fertiliser for the garden, thatâs whyâ. Yet, no action is taken. Hygiene big issue here with flies everywhere and using chicken drop fertiliser. Terrible experience!

A very English high tea feel to this place, which reflects the colonial past. Excellent service by attentive, efficient friendly waiters and very good food too, sandwiches, scones and cakes. Plenty of local tea and a lovely ambience. Afternoon tea for three including tax and service RM190

Called for reservation and was greeted by name when I arrived and during the dinner. Service was extraordinary with a personal touch for yourself and your family. Foods were served just nice of a portion for dinner and the taste was so good. I ordered smoked duck and the taste will last for sometime. My vegetarian family was also well taken care of from their menu.Old colonial building with hotel and restaurant. Nothing much to roam around and the public areas were respectively limited. You tend to passed by someone room's door from a place to another which I found the privacy is lacking.

I felt the need to write a review about the food because of how bad it was. Our table ordered roast chicken, sirloin and normal steak. All 3 types were horrendous. Letâs start with the chicken. It was the literally toughest and driest piece of meat I had ever eaten. You could literally see the fibers of the meat and it was bland with little or no seasoning. The sides were no better as the vegetables tasted like they were just boiled in hot water, with absolutely no seasoning. Not even salt. Next the beef. The sirloin steak was tough and hard to chew. It took us so long to chew the meat into smaller pieces to swallow. Even though it was supposed to be grilled, there were no signs of grill. It felt like the meat was cooked using a pressure cooker. It was pale, dry and bland. The only thing that was nice was the bread which they served as appetizer. We were all so disappointed with the standard of the food as we went there for a birthday celebration. Though the place is nice, the food is definitely not and the price even worse. If the management even bothers to read reviews here, PLEASE do yourself a favour and at least put in some effort in the cooking.

Pizzarella is a Halal certified western restaurant. We serve authentic Italian thin crust pizza with a wide variety western food options including our signature homemade wild mushroom soup, perfectly baked garlic bread, tender & juicy grilled chicken chop
Revisited again this outlet since last trip to Cameron. The restaurant was pack during dinner 7pm. We are 8 pax, then directed us to their another outlet, few doors away. Without needing to wait for a table. Serving time is fast considered they are full house. My parents enjoyed their lamb chop so much and their smoke duck breast taste really good. Highly recommended

Was here and ordered Scottish Breakfast. The waitress just takes down the order without asking if I wanted Beef Bacon instead of Chicken Ham. Was my mistake to think it comes with both. When the food arrives, I ask if I can have the Bacon instead but a NO. Fine. My wife's order which has the same choice but has not arrived, I ask for Bacon, and NO as well. Really?Thank you sir for your time to review us.Allow us to clarify something from our part.1.Choices were to be made during the initial order and its not possible to change the orders once they've been served to the customers. It's to avoid any kind of material waste as we do not recycle any food products. We ensure only fresh products to be plated to our customers. 2.The other order that you've mentioned was actually Bangers and mash, its stated in the menu that we serve it with chicken ham and no beef bacon options was mentioned in it.Nevertheless we sincerely apologise for any kind of shortcomings whilst your visit here. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.Hope this wouldn't hinder you from visiting us again.
