This lake area was recommended to us by locals from Viersen-Dulken.We rode to the lake on pushbikes, had a great day and really enjoyed the scenery and the quiet location of this lake.We hadn't planned to eat here, but just have a drink, but when we arrived and sat down for a drink we decided to have a quick bite to eat before continuing our bike riding. As it was a Greek menu we decided to try some Greek food as a snack (the kids had hot chips). The meal was good, and although the place looked busy the service was pretty good. There were eight of us altogether, and there was another table nearby of about 20, so we didn't stay long. There was the option of outside on the boardwalk (where we sat) or inside.Overall, a good choice we made to stop and eat.

Called in on Saturday morning for a coffee. They didn't have croissants but offered a superb apple pie which I had warm with one of their scrumptious ice creams.Service was prompt and very polite - and fortunately for us they spoke English too.A great place - I understand that it only opened in April and as will close later this month for Winter.Highly recommended!!

We have been here several times with either my family of 6 or with my girlfriend.Staff is efficient but friendly, and always welcoming you with a smile. The typical Greek mezedes are my favorite: all fresh made and beatiful presented. Fried baby octupus, beef with aubergine puree, giant white beens with feta, grilled aubergine are some of the great starters. Gettong hungry while making this review:).Main course we mostly choose their fresh fish, you can have it grilled as a whole fish or they make a fillet for you. Sides dishes you can chose of fries, potatoes or garlic puree ( very nice). Plates are nicely decorated, not as some Greek restaurants were they throw the food on you're plate.Highly recommended!

On our way back home on a sunny afternoon. With some noise out of our stumics we decide to go to the southern side of Mediterranean , Greece .Ended up at Nostos , entree is a very nice surprise , not a traditional but original interior , modern waiter en splendid service. We went for the fish platter for 2 , started of with a salat of the house , nice green fresh crisp salat topped if with some olive and vinigar , just enough to be great not to much to loose quality. Salary came with fresh bread and a filler fish creme , nice combo , this restaurant shows how easy pure food can be , don"t razzle and dazzle with food , respect its original .Nostos has a outside diner patio under the trees besides a small river , how lucky. Can you be , fishplate, wooden plate with a ring of pilaf rice , fresh veggies in the middle and differend kind of fish on top. They took a risk but it just worked out fine , if you eat the fish and grilled veggies your good to go home , overall, very cosy modern restaurant with good quality food and service Greetz Pete

What you see is what you get. Not over pretentious. Close to a wonderful hiking area this is a Great place for a lunch and a Belgian, Dutch or German beer. Friendly and swift service. Not too forget great chats with other guests. Dog and horse Friendly. Good kitchen. Lovely icecream coupes. And did I mention reasonable prices?

Dutch sweet and savory pancakes (also soups). Menus in German and Dutch with waitresses that are actually Dutch, and are fluent in German, who most likely speak English as well. The food is nothing spectacular, but good.

Perfect if you are into toddlers and like quirky Austrian dresses on Dutch waitresses. Loud, unorganized and near average food. Good beers. People changing diapers on the next table. Parents running after their offspring. Don't get me wrong, it's crowded on a sunny day. Has a playground. Mass can't be wrong. Just not for me.

One restaurant didnt take cards, the next was booked out so we came here. Service was friendly and fine, starters (soup) and main courses were fine at an excellent price.

I recently visited here, 23 years after my last visit, bringing my husband with me this time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The place hasn't changed at all; still in a fantastic location with excellent service and atmosphere, even better food and all at a great price. We ordered the Balkan platter and my husband's face was a picture when it came out. After the meal, he said that was one of the best "dinners" he had ever had - high praise indeed.
