We had Veal cheek, Trout, homemade Pribinacik desert and pancakes. Meal had full rich taste, trout was very pleasant and deserts were delicious. We will come back again for sure. Atmosphere was great too, it is a very cozy place.

My wife and my mum ordered two coffees, one double esspreso and one latte with double shot of coffee. The surprise came out as the waiter has charged them 4 coffees in total. 2x esspresos and 2x lattes, even there has not been four coffees!!! They have paid without any hesitation 12,4 euros. But i think it is simply not fair to charge them for four coffees when they had two coffees. It has been very unpleasant as all our stay in hotel Stupka has been great. I am awaiting for F&B managers reply, if this is ok?Thank you for reply and 1-star for quite unpleasant surprise at the end... RS

The choice of restaurants on the South side of Chopok is not impressive, nevertheless Kuria na Ta'loch is really great. They have a wide choice of traditional Slovak meals and all of those that I tried were delicious. Staff was nice too and they spoke English quite well. We even returned there several times thanks to the choice and quality of food

Wow, delicious homemade food. Iâm really fond of halusky (Slovak dumplings) and this restaurant has a massive variety! Though the owner and staff doesnât speak English they are very friendly and they have the menu card on different languages. Itâs next to a ski lift so it closes after an hour or so the lift stops.I owe the staff a huge thank you and I give them an extra plus because yesterday I left my handbag in the restaurant and they were so kind to secure it for me. We were on the way from Poland to Hungary and stopped to eat here. I only realized my bag is missing 70 kms after we left. I tried to call them but unfortunately we didnât speak any common language but later it turned out they had known who I was. So we turned back. By the time we got there they had closed the restaurant but an old lady from the kitchen was still there and returned my bag. Thank you!I had in the bag some 30 euros, my driving license and my brand new latest model kindle... I know this is the normal attitude but you never know nowadays especially in a foreign country. I really appreciate their honesty and kindness. Thank you very much!For sure we will return because of the excellent dishes!

On this occasion we stopped in an apartment belonging to the pension. We have stopped here several times. The apartments are kept spotlessly clean and they are in beautiful setting.The apartments are nicely furnished with everything you need. The restaurant belonging to the pension is fantastic and serves wonderful food. Another great stay.

One day before Christmas Eve we visited Elf restaurant in Brezno. It is little bit difficult to find the entrance of the restaurant. You have to go inside under the gate (Tatrabanka passage) from the M.R.Stefanika square. Then you will see nice reconstructed building. Interior of the restaurant is really nice. It is furnitshed and decorated in Lord of the Rings trilogy style. We were ten people group without the reservation. Due to date and time restaurant was empty and we did not wait long time for our orders. To be friendly with cook we decided to have reduced type of dishes. We were very satisfied with the meal. Cuisine is typical slovak and international central european. Waiters should be more polite and emphatetic. When I would like to have an espresso, please do not offer me "picolo" twice :-D. But otherwise I recommend.
