Overall we enjoyed a good family lunch here: two people rated it as excellent, while the third one found it slightly overpriced.A huge thumbs-up to the service, we unanimously agreed that all staff members are very friendly and efficient. As starters, the oysters were perfectly fresh and well-presented. The scallop carpaccio and crab bisque were both quite tasty, however we found the portions to be rather tiny.Re main courses all portions proved really generous. The cod dish and the sea bram fillet were perfectly cooked. For the fish & chips, the tartar sauce was slightly disappointing - it looked and tasted as if coming straight from the fridge! As desserts no issue with the Tarte Tatin and chocolate moist cake - both very tasty. The Thé Gourmand was again a bit disappointing, the mini-desserts looked "tired" on the plate.Price level is on the upper scale - amounting to 55⬠per person.

Despite being a culinary capital of the world, I've not always found it easy to eat well in Paris, and despite la Table de Cybele being inspired from world cuisine, it epitomises the French reputation for food in a way I'm not sure how it could be bettered. The food is simple in theory when you read the menu, but somehow when it arrives on your plate, the flavours, textures and style is very complex and even if you are not a fan of fine dining, or feel you don't have a palette to appreciate it all, it seems to work on anyone. It is complex, but not fussy, the food still has a simplicity, which I appreciate is a contradiction and this is what the food does, it adds to the ingredients, making them better together in complimentary ways and in ways which should appeal to everyone. It is not avant garde dining or fashionable to the point where it challenges you to like the food. It is never too much, and still reminds you it is home cooked food, worthy of the finest restaurant's of Paris. I personally haven't eaten better in Paris (and have access to the best restaurants) and even if I'm not in the area, I will go just for this place especially as it is out the way of the tourist locales. The staff are excellent and the chef is the owner, so this is as close to original creativity you will get.As an area, it is a nice part of Paris, and near the old Renault Factory / island and worth a walk round - a part of France's automotive history. I should also highlight the locally baked bread (complimentary and plentiful) goes very well with the wine selection.

we were warmly welcomed. food is delicious, products are quality oriented and the cooking is excellent. all was perfect and the coffee was strong and tasty as we were expecting in an Italian restaurant. tables are quite close to oneanother so one always hope that other guests will be discreet and well behaved, which was the case when we went. thank you!

Very happy that I chose this place. I arrived quite early (6:40 ish) so I think they were only just open and not quite ready for customers, but I got a friendly welcome and took a seat. I had the smoked salmon to start, and the escalope with marsala to follow with a carafe of Bordeaux. In addition they brought some nice black olives and some lovely fresh bread to the table and it was all very good indeed. I can't speak for the rest of the menu - though I'm sure I'll be back to try some of it - but on this evidence this is a place well worth visiting. It may not be the kind of haute cuisine to blow your socks off but it's very decent Italian food with friendly service at a reasonable price.

We had a truly wonderful dinner here on a Saturday evening. Luckily we had made a reservation or we would not have gotten in. It's very popular. Everything from the burrata and tomato salad to the pasta and panna cotta were excellent. Great garlic bread and bread sticks to start. So good!!! It is not far from Roland Garros, French Open but off the beaten path from central Paris.

Simple food, well prepared , everything has a little twist to it. The duck is superb, the burgers are great. My wife had cod and it was perfectly prepared. And, a nice selection of wines. Moderately priced, in a casual but comfortable space, it is inciting and the host, Mathieu, makes you feel very welcome. It will be a favorite.I'm glad you had a great time with us and that you enjoyed your lunch. Proud that you came to visit us and can't wait seeing you soon in my bistro.

Our second time at this stunning little restaurant that sets charming and different (no French wines!) undertones in Paris' culinary scene. They are dedicated to their customers and to their food, and it shows in fully booked evenings and people coming back again and again. The place is "hip", with colourful design and cool culinary creations (today we had house made Mushroom ice-cream, for example), and there is always also a young diners audience, but not exclusively. Demographic wise interesting place: you can find all ages and nationalities sharing food and bottles of wine here on any given day.Even after over three months, we were recognised and handled with utmost friendliness and care.Would I live in Paris, I certainly would become a regular!P.S. - If the low temperature, slow cooked egg is available, just order and enjoy!

So glad we did. Itâs small and cosy but big enough to feel like youâre out somewhere nice. There were 3 of us, one had the fish, another the steak bleu and I had the lamb. It was all excellent. The wine was also good. We were all blown away by the desserts too, the lemon tarte was absolutely fabulous. Thank you

Mrs. Chauvel's English has improved remarkably. Mr. Chauvel's cooking has taken on nuances of Japanese food. During April I went there twice with 2 different groups of friends and family. Both times we had the smaller menu for 70+ Euros. More than enought to eat. Interesting flavors and different. The first group (5) ate everything. The second group had one Hindu REAL vegetarian and a fish-only eater and me (normal). We had really original pure vegetarian meal: interesting vegetable presentations. Both times there were 3 desserts. Fabulous chocolate desert. Apetizers: one thing was radishes with black sesame seeds. Mr and Mrs. Chauvel have learned new things, but stay the kind, considerate people they have always been. The ambience and handicapped bathroom is an added attraction. A 3 star restaurant on a one star budget. Merci beaucoup.Thank you very much, it was a real pleasure to see you again. Thanks for my English. We are delighted that you again enjoy the cuisine of Jean. See you soon
