Find out what European restaurants to try in Bosa. Bosa is a town and comune in the province of Oristano (until May 2005 it was in the province of Nuoro), part of the Sardinia region of Italy. Bosa is situated about two-thirds of the way up the west coast of Sardinia, on a small hill, about 3 kilometres (2 miles) inland on the north bank of the Temo River. The town has maintained a population of around 8,000 people for a significant amount of time, but has an urban character that has differentiated it from other locations in Sardinia. Agriculture and fishing play an important part in the city economy, thanks to the river valley near the coast surrounded by hills and highland plateaus.

Arrived here after 10pm on a Monday night when all the other restaurants were full. Delightful setting overlooking the River Temo on the left bank; when we were there there was a small band playing next to the river. Service good, we were not rushed, delicious, crispy, very very large pizzas, with wide variety of choice. House wine â¬5 for half a litre, the white was more than reasonable, the red drinkable. Would go again for a casual meal, four of us ate for â¬20 each. (Pizza and dessert each, and between us portion of fries (Single portion was large),1.5L wine and sparkling water.)

This restaurant is a bit further out of town than many and is usually full of locals or Italians. The food is tasty but the house wine was not nice at all - it would have been better to get a bottle.

Very nice and comfortable restaurant serving typical Sardinian! The cook Franca will delight you with its regional dishes! For lovers of tradition and for those who still have not experienced the flavors of Sardinia! Each day a different menu and freshly pre
Off the beaten track and not totally easy to find. A simple familiar trattoria which is worth the trip! Amazing sea food, simple antique cuisine, exquisite kindness of the young owner (a couple brother-chef, sister at the tables, mother supervising: a unique trio). For those tired of tourist traps on the coast, an immersion in the atmosphere of Sardinia as it was....and don't miss the real homemade seadas,a dessert with cheese and honey, I rarely had it so fragrant!

This place is right up there for places to go to eat in Bosa. While not in the town centre, it is full of locals looking a good lunch. Not touristy at all. Don't bother with eating in the city centre. Eat here, and walk into town after.

Found this great little place by accident, it looked inviting and we weren't disappointed!!Not an extensive menu, but what was on offer would suit most palettes. We shared the meat antipasti platter - absolutely delicious!! - and my wife had the super herb crusted swordfish whilst I had the lamb. Both dishes were beautifully presented!!My lamb was covered in nuts - yes nuts! - but it proved to be a wonderful combination!! Can also highly recommend the excellent BaBo local red wine!Great service, friendly and polite made this a great lunch experience.Highly recommended!!

Ristorante con cucina Italiana, pizza con farine speciali cotta nel forno a legna, ampi spazzi all'esterno con giardino.
We visited this restaurant without a reservation, and to be fair they were very busy. We did not expect to wait half an hour before being asked what we would like to eat or drink. When our food did come, it was a little of a let down. The octopus salad was all apple and not much octopus, and that was over cooked. The mixed grilled fish was much better, the fish nicely cooked along with the prawns, calamari and octopus. We did wonder if it would be better on a quiet night as it was full of locals, usually a good sign.

We were excited about going to this restaurant but it was a huge disappointment. A couple on the table next to us were playing music loudly on their phone. When we asked the waiter if they could turn it down/off he made little effort to sort it out. The waiter and the couple ended up laughing at us making us feel very unwelcome. When we complained they didn't take any notice of us. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. We are very sorry for the incovenient. The couple sitting next to you was listening their own music. Probably you could hear it, but it was not that loud. The waiter turned down the music in the dinner room, but of course couldn't force other customers to turn off their mobile. Also, waiter and customers were not laughing at you why they should? I would suggest you to try our restaurant during quiet time, so that if you prefer, you can sit far from other guests.
