Restaurant and bistrot open the whole day! Come to visit us and taste our lunch and dinner: you can relax sitting by the seaside in our beautiful terrace. We have wonderful beers and special drinks too! Wednesday jam session jazz live!!
The "I Signatori" is one of those rare gems one either finds by chance or based on recommendation. In my case it was the latter, and at the end of our dinner I told landlord Paolo that I had never eaten better tuna than in his establishment - and I meant it. Friendly service combined with superb cuisine and a lovely view of the Ligurian Sea: pure enjoyment and a culinary destination warmly and seriously recommended. Prices are not low, but certainly more than fair, considering the value offered. In addition, jazz live concerts are regularly performed on the premises. Miss this restaurant at your peril.

Delicious degustation menu of 5 courses, each delicately sauced and expertly prepared by Andrea Sarri, a chef who is definitely going places. Glorious views if eating al fresco and specialising in local and ultra fresh fish fwith the right portions. Much better value than the equivalent experience in France.

Lorenzina Mare is located on the panoramic promenade of Porto Maurizio, a few meters from the golden beaches and the marina. Our strengths? The excellence of the sea and mountain ingredients, the panorama, the Aroma Garden, the passion of our brigade and
I wrote about Altamarea, the restaurant at spiaggio d'oro in Porto Maurizio, Imperia, Italy , today. Same family:I cannot hold myself back from writing about grand-mother Lorenzina, that left earth on April this year. Grand-ma Lorenzina started many years ago with a B&B in the Ligurian hills, before its off-springs would come down to the beach. Their latest acquisition was Hotel Corallo, in Porto Maurizio/Imperia, a smaller size 3* Hotel being redone as we speak. I have not stayed there, yet, so I cannot give an opinion. But, and that is a important "but", is their restaurant: Lorenzina Mare. I was given this nice table (vide pic) with a marvelous view on the sea. Then heaven was brought in, in the form of antipasto mare, raw scampis (my passion) . Then something not from the sea, which was a perfect vitello tonnato with summer truffels and a poched egg. Continuation a soup of chick-peas and small squids, panzotti (round raviolis) filled with seabass, covered with sea bass ragu and one of my weaknesses, fritto misto (deep fried fish, seafood and veggies) some drops of lemon, and your are just fine.....Detail: my maitre d was her grand son. My verdict on the G&M scale: at least 14 out of 20....Buon appetito

The restaurant deserves special attention for those staying in Imperia. Very beautiful location, stylish design, lovely terrace. The food is just amazing. The octopus is superb and so is pasta. Delicious deserts and good selection of wines. Atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing, service is hospitable and courteous. One of the best restaurants in town without any doubt!

We ordered a menu for 35 Euros. The first course was a plate of smoked tuna and smoked swordfish- both were delicious. There was a fresh tomato garnish on top that was fabulous. Next course was Linguine and Clams, again, really tasty. The main course was Misto Fritto with many different types of shell fish and fish. Lemon sorbet and coffee for dessert. Our waiter was friendly and provided good service. We would definitely go back.

A charming place in the western Liguria between sea and mountains. An exclusive oasis of relaxation in the middle of century old olive trees. A typical tasting menu of the Ligurian countryside, rich in local specialties slightly revised by chef G. Borgo t

A clean unpretentious local eatery which serves a great selection of pasta. Worth checking out, not as fancy as some of the others with outdoor seating, but the welcome is genuine and food generous and good. We had the spaghetti vongoli -the clams were sweet and fresh & a putenesca with a bottle of House wine and weâre content! The lady of the house will do her best to make this a memorable drop in!

This family restaurant serves delicious authentic food. I was served fresh olive oil made by the family, the best I ever tasted! I had the salami and prosciutto as a starter, and then the pork loin with apples. Absolutely delicious. Wonderful deserts and all the digestives! The restaurant is recently redecorated, and the pellet stove makes it cozy in the winter. In the summer there is a big terras for outdoor dining.

Historic restaurant recently renovated. The restaurant Lanterna Blu offers tasting menu. A table reservation is obligatory, so you need to book in advance. No credit card payments accepted.
Visited with my family and had high expectations given the many positive reviews. The experience was however less than the sum of its parts. Whilst there was little wrong with the food it was nothing special. A set menu of fried calamari to start cheese with anchovies and tuna tartar for middle and a huge plate of pasta with a small half of lobster for main isn't fine dining or anything out of the norm. It was all done at a bit of a rush also, we were in and out in an hour and 15 mins. Not one to repeat. At my question if you all had any food allergies or intollerances, you answer with a noisy spamming in your belly: " look at me: do I look like?" This is also neither fine introducing nor very special. Looking at your reviews, you are certainly a good story teller, but little liar too... The lobster looked smaller because, as from your personal " introduction" and the whole family-sizes decided to cook Little pasta more. Restaurant was fullybooked, and if you were server in high season in one hour and half, I consider this a great goal and service. Have a good Life, you need It. Massimo

I had just proposed to my lovely girlfriend and were looking for a lovely ristorante to celebrate our engagement. We had been recommended Casa della Rocca as an excellent place to eat at and as you can see the reviews back this statement. However when we arrived we were immediately turned away by who I can only assume was the owner who told us in a thick German accent that there was "no bar, no wine and no menu, we are closed." As it was only around half past ten a night I was rather surprised especially considering most of the other places in the village were still open.Looking around it was still busy and the mostly teutonic clientele were all tucking into their meals, some still being served and were mostly giving us dirty looks at our British accents. It was pretty obvious that we weren't welcome. So we took our leave, walked back to the Piazza Doria and promptly got served at a Ristorante there whose staff were very happy to see us and congratulate us on our engagement which thankfully saved what was a very memorable evening for us!I was very disappointed at the rather blunt and rude attitude the owner took towards us especially as the place still looked open and rather busy. On this basis I really can't reccomend this place.Dear Guest,we thank you for noticing our restaurant. Congrats also for your engagement and sorry, if our behavior seemed ârudeâ to you - as far as I remember, I am always very polite with everyone who runs into our restaurant...One explanation for you: We dont have a card to shelter. We have only ONE Menu and we start all together at 8pm, because it is and was my husbands wish, to cook alone for all the people! It was always a dream of him, because he was chef of a swiss hotel with 28 cooks an seven restaurants and he had enough of organising instead cooking....When we start all together at 8 pm and have only one Menu, he can make it. We make public relations for this kind of system. We have it written in front of the restaurant, on our homepage and at least hardly everyone in Delcedo knows it now. What a pitty, that the person, who recommended the della rocca to you, âforgotâ to tell you....At half past ten, when you looked in, our kitchen is empty. The Menu is over and because we work mostly on reservation, nothing to eat is left. So my husband can go to the market next day and buy fresh for the next Menu...a dream to work like this for a real good cook...Following to this system we also cannot start making BAR outside along the river - a thing, the people are unfortunately not able to understand. If we start to serve drinks and snacks beside the Menu, it kills the system!!! We need a card, we need more staff...And at least its good for the others, that we work so diffrent. We dont take the other restaurants something. People can have their drinks, their ligurian typical food an their pizza in town - and if they want to try an extraordinary Menu once, they can be with us...And by the way: WE love to serve the âteutonicsâ. They are well educated, good clients wo understand the kitchen of my husband - and who come more than once a month to eat.! Dolcedo can be glad to have them!! Personal Tipp from me for you: Before you criticize, you should have a look âbehind the wallsâ.All the best,Tina Dosot
