We visited this great Restaurant twice during our summer holidays and were impressed with the atmosphere and great food both times. The menu is relatively small, but offers a good variety from meat dishes including steaks to seafood and even cheese fondue. In each of those sections you will 3-4 options to chose from and all we tried was really great. Also order a salad and try their wasabi-balsamic dressing with it, very unique but worth tasting! They are serving beer from the Störtebeker brewery, which is an additional benefit, but the wine section is also very good. We were very lucky at both of our visits to have an evening with live music, which definitely adds to the atmosphere of the restaurant. They have a nice and relatively big garden section outdoors and also a patio with few additional outdoor tables. During main vacation season I would still recommend a reservation, especially for the weekend as the tables fill up very quickly. Go and give it a try!

We went to the little take away shop for quick fish-roll for lunch a couple of times and also had a full Lunch & Dinner there. The restaurant is directly located in the marina of Boltenhagen, next to the little fisherman's huts at the end. Since the owner is running several fishing boats the fish is a fresh as you can get it. Sitting on the outdoor patio gives you a really nice view on the marina. Service is good, but a little bit tough at times, especially when the restaurant is full. The food we had was great, both in the take away shop and also for the full meals. Of course we had fish every time we ate there and it was really tasty and well prepared. Definitely can recommend this restaurant!

+ Lovely building located right at the beach (guess it's great to suit outdoors in summer)+ Amicable interior and very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere + Service was very efficient, friendly and authentic (explained all the dishes and helped us to decide) + As it was Christmas season we went for the duck which was a great choice in terms of taste and amount + Good value for money

We came to the restaurant without a reservation on a Monday night and only got a table indoors. When getting the menu we were told already that the food would take a while to prepare because they are so busy. I really liked their openness about it and think it's fair to let your guests know before placing the order. While waiting for the food and sipping their really good house wine we were surrounded by a swarm of waiters that seemed a little disorganized and were partially swearing in Italian, obviously assuming nobody would understand. On a positive note you can call this authentic... :-)) However, the Pizza was very good when it finally arrived and both really liked it. Overall still a good restaurant to go to at a very central location in the center of Boltenhagen. Definitely make a reservation before going there.
