A five minute drive form Biasca. The restaurant is quite small so would suggest reserving. Would have like to see more local specialities on the menu. However, the food was very good and a special mention for the cheese board. No wine menu, you just choose the bottle you would like on a shelf.

The service is very nice. Pizzas big and tasty. Beautiful mountain landscape. Possible to eat outside. Good with kids. They can play in the big outside green area.

After riding for 70km, we stopped at Grotto Pini for lunch and what a surprise! The lady who greeted us was lovely (we guessed it was the owner) and we took place under the trees on a stone table and benches. The food was simple but spectacular, and the place is just a very nice mix nature and calmness and good food.We all agreed that this was one of the highs of our trip to Switzerland.

Piccolo ristorante di gestione famigliare da tanti anni, si mangia una tipica cucina italiana veramente gustosa, tutto fatto al momento.
We stopped on our way further south from Switzerland, and the food was out less than 10 minutes after we ordered. Portions were perfect, with a large salad and pasta dish feeding two of us. Parking in the back is free

We found this place accidentally after having had trouble finding a restaurant open on a Monday for lunch. We had a steak and chips, a bottle of water and espressos for only just over CHF30 for two people. Believe me, for Switzerland that is very reasonable indeed. A perfectly fine stop over point. The restaurant is not in the centre, not especially picturesque, but, we felt, good value. Service was smooth and quick. It did what we wanted and at a reasonable price. Tripadvisor needs a grade between 'Average' and 'Very Good'. This was three and a half dots, I'd say.

Ideal place to start the summer season family or friends reunions! Located in rural area, also a perfect spot to stop for a meal if biking in the area. Fantastic outdoor seating area, if too cold, there are tables indoors, beautiful under the mountain rocks. A playground is available for the little ones.We had most grilled meats; costine (yummy grilled ribs 17.00); luganighetta (sausage 12.00) were all served with side green salads and boiled potatoes; salami (6.00); Alps cheese slice (8.50); wine, drinks, ice cream and coffee we spent 75.00. It was reasonable priced if compared to other Swiss grottoes for normally what we eat, obviously our experience⦠After meals is nice to have a walk in the surroundings; after the small town there is a nice waterfall where to relax and enjoy. Food (quality and quantity), place (fantastic), price (thumbs up), service (friendly), this place has all the points to be in my top list of outdoor eateries!

Our yearly visit in the Biasca area again finished with diner on the terrace. Friendly staff, menu variety ok. Pizza very mice. Unfortunately no pasta pesto, though last year it was possible as an exception. May be something to put on the menu....Several tables filled, both inside as well as on terrace. Looking up the mountain you see the Biasca chur with its way of the cross, which can also be recommended

We went here just last weekend for lunch after a long hike. Certainly not dressed for fine dining, but were greeted by the chef and owner Luigi Maiolo. We had the best gnocchi we've had in a very long time, with zafran sauce, and a wonderful platter of cold meat. I could imagine that the terrace is very romantic at night. Service was excellent, I liked the fact that the Chef came out to serve along with the waiter and explained the dishes, as well as greeted us upon arrival and departure. Next time Bellinzona, will be a visit with bells and jingles for dinner!
