We had a pre dinner drink here in summer. Lovely evening shade with outdoor seating made it pleasant. Our hotel voucher gave us a taste of three beers. Well done BK!The wine was also very pleasant. Good and friendly service. Prices for food are up there, but it is a quality place.

My cousin who lives in Traben Trarbach recommended this place. We all walked here after hiking the Moselsteig. We were very tired and got to sit in the garden terrace. I had the best Salatteller Ziegen ever. Everyone loved what they ordered and it was so comfy and cozy out of the terrace and then it, started to pour. The staff helped us move under the awning better and were very attentive. The prices are fair and the servers are friendly. We all had a great time.We had a chance to go inside and the inside is as lovely as the outside is pretty. Great Restaurant.

Fast and friendly service, a nice appetizer on the house, a gorgeus carpaccio for starter, and their calf liver was just beautiful. The Spätzle, however, was, albeit good, not quite as excellent as I would have expected, and their local red, well, good juice but not quite what I would like a red wine to be. I suggest you go for a good dry Riesling instead! Otherwise happy to recommend for your dinner in Bernkastel-Kues!

Visited as a party of nine early Sunday pm. We hadnât booked which in hindsight was a mistake. The seating of new arrivals is not well organised or controlled so people just wander in and sit down when others are waiting. We finally got a table and things got better. Food was hearty and good. Good selection of beers and the waitress who had been a little off-hand to start with got a lot better.A good visit and would return.

I have already mentioned this restaurant when writing about the hotel, but I think it also merits mention in its own right as a restaurant. We dined with another couple and all agreed that we had eaten and drunk well. I had the Triologie vom Pfifferling as a starter. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looks. I decided to stay vegetarian for the main course and had stuffed baked potato, which was more delicate and creative than it sounds. Their wine from their own vineyard was also a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommended.

Welcome to the Restaurant Alt Bernkastel, Here, you will find lovingly prepared local products. Our offered meat has grown up in Rheinland-Pfalz and slaughtered and dissected by our butcher. A large selection of excellent Moselle wines complements our off
Very nice place, with a lot of character, a very decent menu that can accommodate German and more European tastes, the food was delicious, but the waitress had an attitude that was borderline rude. Considering there were only two tables to look after and being off-season, I can barely imagine what it is like during peak time... Recommended for the food and the modestly-priced bill...

Traveling from Luxembourg to Rudesheim Am Rhein, and needed a place for dinner. We stopped in Bernkastel as we had seen recommendations as to how quaint it was, and we were not disappointed! The town is very scenic, right on a river, and everywhere we went was another great photo opportunity. We stumbled on this restaurant, and decided to give it a try. Inside is very nice, lots of tables with nice, decorative interior. The staff was friendly, and we all chose pasta for dinner. All the meals came out piping hot and delicious, and it really hit the spot. It did take a while for us to be able to get our check, but it wasn't more than we have experienced in other restaurants on our trip. I think this would be a great stop for families, as well as couples, and we would definitely stop there again!

The restaurant "Ochs" in Bernkastel-Kues Since Easter we opened the restaurant "Ochs" in the former slaughterhouse. Regional and seasonal specialties are on our menu, where we pay attention to the origin and quality of the processed products - so we refer
Visited this somewhat hidden away restaurant with a group of 7 friends -and we are so happy we went there! Walking into the back alley we loved the atmosphere right away. Nicely decorated and their food and wine followed up. All at good prices, particularly the wine. Good quality at a good price -what more to ask for? Add a friendly staff to this and you have a top recommandation for where to dine in Bernkastel-Kued All the dishes we had were good, I loved the beetroot I had as a starter. Enjoy!

Went here due to the high rating. However,... It smells like a bar inside. It looks not very nice inside either. There were small flies, big flies and mosquitoes flying around and you heard several customers trying to catch them. Food was OK but small sizes. The Asian waitress was very friendly and helpful. Never again though....

Nested in the heart of this stunning medieval village, Graacher Tor is offering a taste and an atmosphere typical matching the surrounding with a menu focusing on local dishes, with portions so generous that I recommend to share, and with a primary attention to ingredients, those are of pristine quality.Great service we had from smiling Julia that took perfectly care of us, she is young and talented.Wide wine selection as you can expect in one of the capitals of Mosel wine , pratically all wines are at Km 0 or just a little more.Make sure to take a walk before and after the meal in this village that is idyllic, and above and around you best Mosel vineyards.
