Small bistrot, cared closely by the owners. Delicious food, good options for wine drinking, gentle service.

Very delicious italian food, good locally made pasta by a talentous Chef. It is a cozy and comfortable place located next to a huge shopping mall. Not many wine choices but a wide offer of different choices to eat, Friendly and effective, it is a must for italian food lovers to try, not worth to skip it in your next trip to Belo Horizonte. Thank you very much for your comment and evaluation. We were very happy with your satisfaction. We look forward to your next visit.

The general ambiance was carefuly projected, the reception is warm and there are good choices of italian dishes. On the other hand, restaurant´s room service is not as attentive and their wine list, although presenting a large choice of italian specialties is overpriced.Dear Mario Sergio. Thanks for the compliments to the kitchen and to atmosphere of the restaurant. The staff is always in training to improve they service. This is a constant concern, and we apologize for this.About the wines, as they are all imported from Italy we have high costs, with extortion brazilian's taxes and high euro value. Even so we managed to offer among our 150 labels many options below 98 reais. Some options even under 80 reais, which is, in a menu so extensive and complete a considerable number of good cost-benefit options. And the vast majority of our wines have profit margins below many other similar restaurants.Best regards

Fancy and very nice house but food is average. Nothing special. Went on a business lunch and the place was very empty.

As the title says, it's a good italian resto but we had to be patient with the waiters. We could note that they were doing the best they can but maybe some training is needed. We were there with friends and all our first three options of wine were stockout. We ordered an appetizer as a starter and we've got three little toast and some parmesan cheese for R$20, bit expensive in my opinion (considering the main course was about R$42). Actually, the ambiance is less fancy than the prices they charge.Talking about the main course, the pasta is quite good, nice cook point, and the chef takes special requests without problem (unlike Est! Est!! Est!!! roughly does) the and they have a very good tomato sauce.

Au Bon Vivant is a tipical french bistro with traditional french cooking. All wines are French, from our own import, and all are available by the glass, jar or bottle. The same can also be purchased in the restaurant's shop at the same price, as well as s
This is really nice little French restaurant with a good atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. We ate good, well-presented food from a varied menu. They have a good selection of wines at very reasonable prices and good advice to help you choose. Will definitely go again

Went there as a couple for a pocket tango show. I was pretty hungry so I decided to order some stuffed mushrooms and a steak filet ( heart of the tenderloin) with a cassis cream. The very expensive mushrooms ( only five small ones) were well done and tasty,The meat was awful. Had to return it. Very expensive, hard and tastless seven small pieces of meat on a cream. put in a small pot.For me its not a restaurant, but just a regular, expensive and noise bar.

We have been to Vecchio Sogno twice and both meals have been wonderful. This past visit 5 of us enjoyed an unforgettable Brazilian-Italian experience, featuring very good service, excellent food and wine, and their out-going and entertaining pianist. We love northern Italian food paired with northern Italian wine (in this case, a youngish Barbaresco) and we were not disappointed. Our French-Brazilian waiter did a very nice job, with a bit of assistance from the maitre d', walking us through the menu. Ivo Faria should be proud of his team - and his food. We had a diverse range of options and I hate to start listing how many I loved because that would force me to prioritize. Suffice it to say, that I think this might be my favorite restaurant in Brazil, so far. And in the end we spent some fun time with their pianist who entertained us for about 30 minutes after our wonderful meal.

For vegetarianas, you can only order Soufflé and salads, but they have a lot of options. Also, the couvert is 90% vegetarian with the finests ingredients. The menu is in English but be prepare to use Google Translator!
