We had a lovely long lunch at this restaurant. The quality and creativity of the whole experience is breathtaking. Every detail is considered to give you the perfect meal. The staff are friendly and knowledgable and every course takes you on an amazing journey. Don't miss the opportunity to eat here if you are nearby. They have a wonderful blend of flavours and use local ingredients in many different ways.

De style régional, notre restaurant les Marronniers vous accueille tous les jours sauf le dimanche soir. Une cuisine maison à des prix attractifs vous est proposée midi et soir, et toute notre équipe se fera un plaisir de vous accueillir aux Marronniers
linked to our hotel so very convenient after a day out sightseeing. Most customers seemed to be French and more often than not locals which was a good sign. The staff were lovely. The Menu du Jour was great value and over 4 nights we could not fault it.

Being one of only two bars at la Grande Terche it has a rather captive audience.Fantastic position to have lunch and watch the world go by - have been many times over the years but today just had a drink of house rosé and have to say it was awful!Hey ho - I'll stick to beer next time.

My husband and I discovered this little restaurant not loo long after their opening (2015). We have returned 5 times since last summer and we live in Switzerland and Canada. The owners take care of their clients themselves. She is the host and server and he is the kitchen! The place is small so you need a reservation now. Le Menu du Jour or à La Carte food, offers a good choice of french meals and every time we went the food was always warm and very well presented. The choice of wine of the day is always very good and adapted to the menu. I took on two occasions the Tartare de boeuf and it`s very well prepared ( au couteau) with just the right touch of originality! Looking forward to go back and say hello to Mathilde!

Bar Le National is a friendly Scottish-owned bar in the French village of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, which is located in the Portes-du-Soleil ski resort area. Open all year round, Le National attracts a very mixed crowd of local French and English speaking resid
Great bar serving great pizza, always a friendly welcome. Love the roof terrace and the quiz nights.

Fresh produce, excellent desserts, extraordinary value lunch at 14-18 euros, all carefully prepared and with imaginative touches. Very warm welcome, near station, so much better value than lakeside restaurants: but a few nice tables outside and fresh decor inside. Not to miss.

A small and cosy bar / restaurant at the foot of the gondola. Open Winter and Summer in the heart of Saint Jean d'Aulps. Family friendly, good food with vegetarian options, live music events, cocktails, Guinness and much more.
We enjoy eating here regularly. Unusually for this region, you can order with confidence from the menu and know you will enjoy everything your party orders. Steaks cooked perfectly, Hallumi and chicken burgers the best ever tasted. Service friendly and accommodating. Worth eating here more than once during your holiday so you can order one of the âorder in advanceâ options which are frankly divine.Thank you so much for your review and we're delighted you enjoyed our food so much! Hope to see you again soon.

This gem is at the bottom of the local ski hill where friendly staff offers good Savoyard food in a warm environment. Great to recharge your calorie count after a day in the mountain air or to rest while having a drink and snack.Often ski hills have two types of places: good food at too-high cost or plain-jane fare. The Auberge Bois Noir has great eats at a good price. Family friendly too.

What a surprise. This is a very unpretentious and friendly little local bar and restaurant in the skiing hamlet of Les Mouilles - just down the hill from Hirmentaz ski station. I drank in the bar - mostly on my own - for 3 nights before taking the family to dinner. I must admit I didn't expect much - there didn't seem to be many diners - I only saw the occasional takeaway pizza being ordered. But the food here was excellent. The children had steak haché (hamburger pattie) and frites. Wife and I got a pizza each. It was a weird pizza - more like a tartiflette or something but was very tasty and perfectly cooked. And very big - we took half home for next day's dinner. The desserts were a trip - don't miss them. The bill for four - less than â¬80. Great value - especially for the ski-fields. Oh yeah - staff are very friendly and efficient too.
