Pleasant surroundings next to the river, and a pleasant dining room. We had Sunday lunch ... it can get a bit "corporate" in teh week ... and the food was good. Buffet starter and pudding course, the usual roast main courses. NB Not carvery. Food very palatable and well presented. We arrived (as booked) at 12:30 and they were obviously not ready. We had to chase them for the aperitif, which came well after the starter, and we had to chase them for the wine etc. I had the impression that there were plenty of willing front line staff but not much supervisory organisation.£83 for two, three courses, one prosecco, two coffees.

Nestled in a 365 acre forest; a varied, hilly landscape with magical views over the lake & forest bringing guests closer to nature. Please note that the restaurant is only open to guests of Center Parcs. If you are not a Parc guest, the closest Cafe Rouge
Breakfast bap was sooooo good. Would definitely recommend it. Served quickly and hot. We went back for dinner, this wasnât quite as good. Burger tasted a bit boiled inside but nicely chargrilled on the outside, rest of dinner was ok. Hubby was very disappointed with his Steak, only served with chips and the sauce which was extra. Would normally expect mushrooms, peas or a tiny bit of salad.

I've been to 2likeus Aperitivo Bar a few times now and always had an amazing time. The italian meats and cheeses are absolutely gorgeous. Host Roberto is highly entertaining and it always turns into a bit of a disco with us choosing our own tunes. Love this place!

Visited at about 5.30pm on a Friday evening. It's a small cafe type place, A little rustic which may put you off going in. Go in, it's a nice place for a bite to eat. Reasonably priced, my dinner of shredded chicken was lovely. Lovely owner, really friendly, a family oriented cafe. We will be going back more regularly.

Having worked late we decided to eat here and the dining area was empty apart from one couple.I ordered a avocado and pickled cucumber salad to start. When it came the avocado had been peeled with a peeler as it was so hard and unripe. They had the cheek to think a customer is going to attempt to eat a hard rubbery avocado!I sent it back to be informed they hadn't had their delivery of avocados today....??They offered to swap it with another starter, but I wasn't prepared to wait as my partner was nearly finishing.I requested they remove the under ripe avocado and replace it with more beetroot and cucumber. When it came back they just removed most of the avocado and didn't remake it or add extras. The cucumber was just drenched in oil and vinegar and it wasn't pleasant to eat. When the bill came they tried to charge me the full price. Then they just knocked off £2The rest of the meals were average and not worth typing about. When we got back home our clothes smelt of old oil which was lingering around the restaurant.Needless to say- we won't be returning. We are very sorry to hear that your visit was less than satisfactory. Although we make every effort to maintain our standards, we are sensitive to the fact that each of our diners has their own preferences in how their food should be served. We must accept that all our dishes may not be to everone's taste; however, we feel that a price reduction is not justified on this count. We do hope to fulfil your expectations should you decide visit us again

Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside! Love the open kitchen where you can see your meats being cooked on open coal. The menu is vast with plenty to choose from and the service was extremely friendly and efficient. I will definitely be returning.

The food was amazing, delicious and plentiful, and they catered so well for my vegetarian and vegan friends. We took a chance and arrived without booking. The restaurant was very busy with several large family parties but the staff accomodated us. It was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were very friendly and attentive without being "in your face". We had comimentary olives and garlic bread. I had the antipasto which was delicious (see photo) and hubby had bruschetto which was also very tasty. Mains were lovely.. good size portions. Delicious Baileys panacotta and ptofiteroles completed the meal. Lovely atmosphere, great food and attentive staff. Will definitely be back soon.
