Stunning waterfront restaurant in Southampton. Specialising in modern British cuisine, using high-quality ingredients.
Restaurant is nice, decorated well, lovely view out to Southampton water. I have been before but a long time ago. Food was very good, nice flavours, well presented. Itâs worth a visit. Dear Guest,Thank you for your kind review, we look forward to seeing you on your next visit with us.Kind Regards,Julia

Our philosophy echoes that of the Italian Bacari - that the simple pleasures are the most important for our health and wellbeing. Good wine, delicious food and the company of friends are the recipe for a life well lived. Relax with us and enjoy a few Chic
To celebrate a friends birthday 12 of us visited for brunch, the restaurant helpfully contacted us in advance and suggested that rather than pre-order which is always tricky to co-ordinate that we let them choose the dishes for us. We were greeted at the door by very friendly staff member and served drinks whilst we waited for everyone to arrive. The restaurant has a lovely relaxed feel and we had 2 round tables together which allowed the conversation to flow. The food was really tasty, they choice a very wide range of dishes for us to try from delicious crispy thin pizza to fish and vegetarian options, every new dish was greeted with delight and clean plates which is always a bonus in a big group trying to please everyone. The wine flowed and our glasses were generously refilled before empty with high quality wine. Overall we were all very impressed and felt we had both had a lovely experience and great value for money.

Best cafe in lymington, all day breakfast, ground coffee, resonable price, hog roast baguette, panini, take away, eat in
I've been here many occasions. I have a notion that the place has possibly changed management and its name to Tres Bon.I visited with two hungry grandchildren.Excellent service, staff were very attentive. The restaurant was very busy...always a good sign. Grandchildren had all day breakfast. I ordered lasagne. The breakfast was apparently very filling. However there was still space for ice cream and pancakes!!!Whilst the lasagne was 'passable', the whole dining experience and ambience certainly 'knocked the spots' off Wetherspoons further up the road.I will certainly be back. Next time I think I'll try the 'hog roast' bap.

Good food and great service!! - combined with 2 AA rosettes for Culinary Excellence you will not be disappointed when dining in Beresford's. Our Executive Chef, Chris Wheeldon and his talented team produce daily menus using fresh local produce wherever po
Several couples fined at Beresfords last week and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite! Our meal began with the warmest and most amazing sourdough bread and fresh butter. Followed by a selection of starters with prawns or scallops which I tasted and immediately wished I had ordered!! Then most of us ordered the steak (all cooked to perfection) with the most amazing oversized chips. I opted for the pork belly with a delicious gravy and cauliflower purée! Finished our meal with a supersized cheeseboard that couldnât disappoint anyone. We will, of course, be back very soon! Dear LandJNYUKThank you for your fantastic review of your recent visit to our restaurant Beresfords. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Uncomplicated and simple British garden food, true to the micro seasons and influenced by the forest and coast, with the emphasis squarely on fresh, clean flavours.
Great smiley welcome. Beautiful restaurant largely in a conservatory. Practically nothing matches. Great menu choices, almost all is local, some even from the kitchen garden, some is foraged. Venison chorizo on toast with tomato and padron pepper was brilliant as a starter as was a beetroot salad with blackberries. Faggots! lovely, ditto pigeon. Chips were the best Iâve had for a long time. Lemon posset delicious, poached pears lovely. Everything a bit rustic. Just fantastic

Quintessentially British, with a sprinkling of French. The Elderflower is the new restaurant for food lovers on a cobbled Quay Street in the heart of Lymington, the beautiful Georgian town sited between the New Forest district of Hampshire and the West So
Wanting a special venue for our food-aware daughter's birthday, we chose the Elderflower for a tasting menu, after considering a number of restaurants in the Bournemouth area. We are very glad we did; it was an outstanding success. Every course was carefully designed to produce both expected and unexpected mixtures (who would have thought that parsnip and white chocolate are such excellent companions?), and the service was a perfect balance of attentive but not intrusive. The waiting staff are (as commented elsewhere) really knowledgeable about each dish, to a degree we has never previously encountered (so often it's 'Let me go and ask the kitchen, but in this case those serving us clearly knew how each dish was made â we wondered if in fact they had taken part in preparation). It so happened that one of us has a sensitivity to a common food ingredient, and when booking I mentioned this. The very helpful Katie said she'd ring back with some suggestions, and she did, several times, until the restaurant had, in effect, created a bespoke menu. Really thoughtful and considerate, and meant that all of us had an equally satisfying experience. Not cheap, but good value, and very reasonably priced for a tasting menu of this quality.BTW, I don't understand the comment about dated decor. We thought the ambience very good, and perfectly suited to the building. It certainly didn't feel like an old people's home (see other review below) when we went. Thank you, Elderflower team.

We had a lovely 3 courses at Enzee. Even though they do not have a vegan menu they created 3 vegan dishes for us. They were all delicious.I also have a mild allergy to garlic and onion which they had no problem catering for either. The staff are great and the service is second to none! I highly recommend Enzee for a nice evening meal for you and your partner.Thank you! We are really glad you enjoyed your evening with us. We always make sure that anyone with an allergy is catered for so that they can have a great time with us too :)

Had a wonderful lunch at lanes with friends. Lovely building, a sympathetically converted chapel with tables on different levels so that you never felt crowded or overheard. We were made so welcome and service was exceptional. It was difficult to choose from the tempting options on the menu . I had a very tasty stuffed mushroom starter , delicious and perfectly cooked smoked haddock with a butter sauce and veg main and a creme brûlée dessert . A plate of petit fours to share with happy birthday written in chocolate arrived with our coffee . Which was a lovely surprise and a very generous gesture from the restaurant .Really special lunch , we all enjoyed our meals and the friendly ambience. We will be back !

I visited here in late April as part of a day cycling around the New Forest. We stopped here for lunch. The menu was limited and my food - soup - wasn't great. It wasn't very hot and it lacked in flavour. The pub garden was nice and it was lovely sitting in the sun. I'd pop back in again if I was cycling by, but I wouldn't rush back.Dear GuestThank you for choosing to stop for lunch, I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day of cycling.I am so sorry that you felt the menu was limited and found the soup not to your satisfaction. Unfortunately, you havenât indicated if you brought this to the attention of the management team at the time, but I would like to offer my sincere apologies for your disappointment. We feel our gastro-pub, Montyâs Inn offers an excellent selection on the menu â a choice of two ploughmanâs, a range of sandwiches, five choices of starters and eleven mains. There is also an extensive childrenâs menu â whereas our lounge bar, the Magnolia Lounge, offers a more reduced menu â five savoury choices, including soup and ploughmanâs and a selection of desserts.I would like to pass on a little friendly advice â when visiting anywhere in the future, please do not hesitate to bring even the smallest issue to the managementâs attention in order that they have the chance to rectify and resolve the issue thus ensuring your total satisfaction before you leave, which is so important.I am pleased that you enjoyed sitting in the sunshine in our gardens and it is lovely to know that you will âpop back in againâ if you are cycling by, we look forward to that day and welcoming you again.Best wishesSunil

All dishes are showcased ultimately on the plate with spectacular produce straight from the restaurantâs organic kitchen garden, from across The New Forest and from the neighbouring coastal counties of Hampshire and Dorset. The very best seasonal, regiona
