A very unique place with exciting enterieur, good food, locally made beer. I would never believe, it is a restaurant in an industrial zone. Congrats to the owners, a really good idea to open a pub in a former factory. Architectural design is outstanding!

We stopped here for lunch driving between Budapest and Krakow. It's a charming little place (made of logs) in the forest off a main road. It was August, so the place was very crowded. It also took about an hour for our food to arrive. The food is delicious though, and the prices are good. We had some good traditional food. I also enjoyed the traditional clothes the servers wore.

Food was good, the menu was not warm enough, but all other food was good and tasty. If you come in lunch time it is taking long time to get food, otherwise reasonable. Recommend also to people with gluten free diet, no contamination. Would recommend to improve quality of toilets, they are clean but very old an waste is smelling.

If you like to eat something special you should visit the Frais. We had to wait a little bit longer than average for our dishes but it was worth to wait. Pork belly and beef rib were very special and delicious meals. We definitely recommend to visit Frais.

Bystricka Klubovna is a third beer pub from the Slovak chain and is located in the historical building of Barbakan. Good beer, great food and an amazing atmosphere cannot be missing in Bystricka Klubovna. Imagine grilled delicacies like smoked sausages, g
Popular restaurant. Menu available in English. Helpful waitress who was able to check there was no vinegar in the dish my husband chose. Didn’t like the large TV screens above the bar displaying two different sports channels/video streams – we were there for food, not to be distracted by moving images. Large portions – my husband was unable to finish all the steamed dumpling slices with his beef goulash and Viennese onions.

Wanted a good quality lunch with my family when driving towards Bratislava and ended up to Season. It offers side walk seating, in doors and a garden in the backyard. The food was very good and of high quality, but service was slightly too slow. It took 45 minutes to get our first serving: the caesar salad was prepared by a waitress at our table. A nice little surprise show, but since we were just passing by we probably hadn't opted for it.At bill pay time I mentioned about the slow service and was told it is always slow on Saturdays... Well, okay then...

Being nearby on vacation I was looking for a decent restaurant for a superb dinner. This one looked very promising and I could say there was no disappointment about this place.Inside and outside it looks very good, menu is pleasant and understandable. We tried beef medallions, lamb rack and local haluski and we were amazed by this food. Haluski were the best in my life, beef was fantastic as well. The lamb was slightly under-seasoned and tasted even less interesting than the side dish (potatoes).Anyway, I could say that restaurant is pretty good and I would visit them one more time if I have a chance.

Very good place to have lunch in Donovaly with children. Plenty of options for them and if there is not anything you would like on the menu they will prepare it for you.Prices are fare and the food is tasty. Try typical halusky or if you want something more international chicken snitzel with potatoes.Very recommendable!

It’s a really nice little place to have some food at. The menu is small and the portions are small but it’s very delicious.I really enjoyed coming to this place for lunch.

Our tour group of 22 ate dinner here in late September. The restaurant was located within a short walking distance of our hotel. We dined upstairs in this modern pub, which is furnished with wooden tables overlooked by polished copper brewing vats.Everyone feasted on chicken noodle soup, Slovak beef goulash and dumplings while quaffing some of Slovakia's finest beer. Desert was superb sweet delicacy: a whipped cream-filled torte. It was a very nice evening here, which my spouse and I--and everyone else in our group--enjoyed immensely!
