Ravana's wife cooked up a feast. The veg. Curry had great flavorful chunks of pumpkin and her coconut sambal is the best we've had. Our friends had the kottu which had lots of egg and fresh veggies (unlike sometimes when it's just a mass of fried rotti). Great price and quieter than eating in down in the main Street in Ella.

We were looking for a late night bite to eat in Ella and came across Burger Brew. It had a good selection of sandwiches and burgers along with some Sri Lankan choices. We were in the mood for some cheap Sri Lankan khottu and got their cheese khottu which was really tasty. The service was great and we got a free bottle of water with our meal which was a plus. It's a well decorated and comfortable place that is open-aired and located on the second floor of the building. They also had some good music playing. Would recommend! Definitely back next time we're in Ella.

Amazing local restaurant, close to the center, and not busy, if you wanna escape the touristic place and fake local food with crazy prices go there! Really tasty food, best curry ever, and don't forget the coconut sambol!! The quantity is very good,and it's cheap! The people are friendly

While in Ella I went back to Chef House twice as the food was great, service was great and the atmosphere was very friendly. The host is really making an effort, full of useful advice for travelers. Great Americano coffee with european quality. We recommend also dessert cord & honey. But the best is service and Mr Prakash. He explained to us how to get buses to the next stations on our trip. Recommended very well In my opinion better quality than Chilli coffee

Lovely place,colourful art all around,forest view :-) We ordered kitty and rotti,everything was hot and tasty,acceptable spicy and not oily,that is important. Milkshake was rich and sweet how I like. Very friendly smiling stuff,just pleasure to be there. And very comfortable location,right on the way to little Adams peak. Love it!

These guys make the BEST pizza! The pizzas are huge too! We wanted to keep eating but we were too full. Super fast, friendly service and the pizzas are wood fired right on front of you. Highly recommend and would definitely visit this place again.

We were told to try the Resto Restaurant, but when we got there I was put off with being seated in a smoking area, and the place was virtually empty, which was a warning sign in itself. When I ordered the cheese and tomato submarine, this came with cooked peppers, and which later gave me cramps. The toilet was also dirty. I should have just left then, but we had walked a long way to get there.

Had a salad as a starter.. It was good but too little of what it promised.. Prawns and Avocado. Main was Couscous which was okay. The Kottu with seafood was nice. They added 10% service charge in the end
