Have eaten here on many occasions when in West Cork. Place is always buzzing albeit it is relatively small. Lovely selection of simple food cooked beautifully. Service was excellent as always. We ate hake goujons with lovely side salad and home made fries as well as roast chicken & ham with potatoes and veg selection. Always look forward to returning!

The Fish Kitchen is a family run business that prides itself in having a menu that is almost entirely all fish with the exception of sirloin steak. The Local fish shop downstairs, our main provider of fish ensures an excellent supply of the freshest fish
Got a reservation in the revered fish kitchenDelicious starter for me of prawns, chillis and chorizo . My wife had crab and avocado salad. My wife had a halibut main with caper sauce that she adored, I had goujons of cod that were ok, bad choice by me rather than anything elseGreat vibe as always, good service, back soon I'm sure

The fish and chips was the best battered fish I've eaten. The black sole reported to have been delicious. All the food ordered was of a very high standard. The staff were excellent. It was busy but we were never lacking attention (when needed).A lot of the fish and seafood does look expensive on the menu. But the quality and the fact it's cooked well makes it worth its price.

It's been a while. Great to be back. There for the match today. The excellent service food and welcome more than compensated for the match results . We're just there for lunch but the soup/ pate/ gubeen fritters and chowder- all divine- thanks folks

A nice meal in a family restaurant with efficient and friendly staff. This place gets very busy and its easy to see why it is so popular.

Really enjoyed our visit to Blairscove restaurant. The buffet starter was impressive with a huge selection of delicious Seafood, fish, meat and vegetables. My main course of monkfish with bacon risotto in a prawn bisque was to die for and my husbandâs lamb was also very good. A wonderful selection of Puddings, also buffet style meant you could try a bit of everything! Would love to go back again.

Real italian restaurant in West Cork
Visited Antonioâs after a longer than usual absence but the long journey was worth every mile traveled. My wife had the duck special which was simply fantastic as were my West Cork scallops Italian style. The quality of the food was complimented by the friendliness of the host and her staff. A jewel in the West Cork crown at prices that donât break the bank.

Vincent Coughlan Restaurant is located in the heart of Ballydehob village in West Cork Offering a wide selection of dishes for lunch and dinner using lots of locally sourced produces.
We ordered mussels with chips (weired combination but both were great) and langoustines with pasta. The very gentle waitress had to inform us that they have no langoustines today and the kitchen offers salmon instead. At the end my wife got pasta with much cream sauce and a bit of smoked salmon. We expected a fish dish with fresh fish instead of a pasta dish (then we could have gone to the italian restaurant next door). They charged over 20⬠for the pasta wich would have been ok for langoustine but not for less then 100g of smoked salmon. They asked twice if everything is ok and we always agreed to it. So it is also our fault in a way...

This popular restaurant is what West Cork is all about. The clientele and staff were a mixed bunch of foodies from all over. No pretensions or "emperor's new clothes" about this place! The food was beautifully prepared and presented. I would honestly say that my own cooking and diet have been greatly affected by my experience here. The surprise dish is a great idea.
