Dear restaurant team, we hope you get to read this because you earned it the hard way: though some of the best service, and believe me we are not too easy to be satisfied.Were there as two adult couples mid-March under a package with sleeping and set menu for dinner. As we are not the youngest any more we had booked a table for I think 6.30 or 7 pm and were the first to arrive that evening. We were warmly greeted and shown to a very nice table by the window so we could enjoy the river view until dusk fell. The waiter who so warmly attended to us did not mind taking a couple of pictures and we enjoyed a delicious sparkling by their own wineyard. We were asked whether we wanted to change anything in the menu but we were fine with the offer. We chose a nice bottle of wine to go with the menu, and the sommelier made sure we made the best possible choice (not the most expensive). I think we spent three hours or more over amuse bouche and three courses plus digestiv and each of loved the size and quality of portions, the professional and caring service combined with knowledgable staff knowing when to appear without being intrusive. Tranquil atmosphere in a historic setting, combined with stylish and delicious cooking together with most perfect service - what else could one ask for? Highly recommendable!

We chose the Ratskeller based on reviews, and it did not disappoint! The staff was friendly, intelligent, customer-focused and fun. The food was excellent (we had lovely starters, schnitzel and sauerbraten mains, sorbet and a lovely local wine). The restaurant is pretty- it was a hot night and sitting outside after 7 pm was perfect. We will definitely return the next time were in Heilbronn.

An excellent restaurant with well furnished rooms. On the banks of river Neckar, this hotel overlooks the scenic beauty of German countryside at Bad Friedrichshall. The hospitality extended by the staff makes you feel at home. Call out for Chris and he will be ever ready to serve you with the food of your choice. Even more, allow him to choose the food for you, the best dish is made available before you. Right place for a relaxed evening with family, outdoor sit out overlooking river Neckar is best for a romantic evening, marriage party hall, small conference, customer entertainment....... name the occasion and the place is suited for it.

We went for dinner in early July 2015. The reviews seemed rather mixed, but we went because the view over the Neckar valley is spectacular and the menu has an interesting range of Greek and German dishes. It also contains the prices of drinks, incuding beer. I had a very good Greek salad followed by skewered chicken pieces with Greek sides. Service was quick and efficient, the staff friendly and they gave us a measure of schnapps at the end. An enjoyable evening and good value. We would certainly go again.

Terrible. I went there for dinner yesterday. Restaurant very tired and not well cleaned. Their menu says "This is not McDonalds, please be patient if your food takes time, we cook it freshly for you". Well, I ordered, heard the microwave buzz, binged after 3 minutes, and an overheated meal arrived on a plate. Can you believe it, they used microwaved rice and microwaved a pre-cooked meal! Disgusting and overpriced. McDonalds is better. The waitress was sitting at the other table with her laptop on the internet. I had my laptop with me and needed to send some emails out. I asked if I could use the WLAN connection. She said "NO!". So what about this internet they advertise in their marketing? No, more lies. AVOID this place. Dreadful. And look at the photos. All taken 20 years ago. Imagine a place not refurbished for 20 years. On the plus side, the toilets were clean.

We had lunch here on the last weekend of June. We noticed how busy it was and glanced at the dessert offerings. We were hooked.The staff were pleasant, attentive and welcoming. The environment was excellent, outside on a beautiful day with a very picturesque village. While busy the restaurant was not crowded. The table beside were enthusiastically eating the daily special.We tried a variety and we're very pleasantly surprised with the quality and taste. Fresh, genuine flavours, not over spiced or salted.The desert I had was just excellent. We spoke with owners and she advised the receipt had been in their family for over 100 years. The pie was a thing of beauty. Tart, not too sweet, firm, with custard likeBase between pieces of freshly cooked rhubarb all on a twin layer pastry she'll topped with the best meirange I have ever had.

Grilled Salmon and grilled Zander with generous portion of mixed vegetable were fresh and delicious. Salmon soup as well - not too creamy. Service initially professional, but not specifically welcoming; when told we were celebrating (elderly) mum's birthday, the Italian waiter from Sardinia was lovely and caring.Atmosphere is very "gemuetlich" in old building; silver service. We'll be back.

Right off the main reception is the small restaurant for breakfast. But the breakfast is not small or limited. Lots of hot and cold choices with attentive service to keep things stocked and clean. Eggs, cereals, buns, breads and meats to meet all tastes. And they were of excellent quality. The hot water dispensor for the tea looks like the Tukish Tea design with a tea pot on top, but in our case was only hot water with a dozen choices of teas to make the one you liked. Well done.Since we had a wedding the night before, it was a buffet in the main hall, which also showed the kitchen does a geat job on the dinner menus too.

This Restaurant is not like Any Other Restaurant i was before. It is a rebuilt barn. The light is dimed and warm because of candles. The furniture is wooden nevertheless comfortable. The meals are simple but extremly delicious. My favourite meal is schnitzel served in a pan with roasted potatoes and a small salad.
