Find out what European restaurants to try in Bad Homburg. Just north of Frankfurt at the foot of the Taunus Mountains, Bad Homburg has been treasured for its healing baths since the 19th century, when it hosted royalty from across Europe and the world. Of course they also came for its casino, sometimes called "the mother of Monte Carlo." Today, both the original Spa Park (or Kurpark) and the Bad Homburg Casino are still here, and visitors also enjoy Bad Homburg Castle and its White Tower. Just northwest of town is Saalburg, a restored Roman fort.

Start your culinary journey at Villa Fantastica in Bad Homburg. The restaurant is located at Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade 45, close by Bad Homburger Kurpark. Spend a cozy evening in best company with a glass of italian wine and excellent food at Villa Fanta
The place locate by the Kurhaus in Bad Homburg is not welcoming from the outside but really cozy in the inside.Food was excellent - perfectly seasoned baby calamari, served with spinach and potatoes...delicious and super tender. Dessert was great too - the cassata had the right texture, the right sweetness and the right size (rather big). I would have eaten all the desserts on the menu (chocolate soufflé, pannacotta, etc.) if this had not been a business lunch where I had to behave...Service was attentive, and very friendly. Prices were affordable (2 persons including drinks for less than 60 Euros). They also offer a 2 course lunch menu for only 15 Euro per person. Overall, a pleasure to find such a place that truly is a "villa fantastica"...definitely worth a repeat.Thank you! We are looking forward to your next visit!

Service is horrible and staff is lying. We went there at 8:30 pm. Restaurant inside was empty. Waiter told us everything is reserved and the guests are still coming. Nobody eats at 9 pm in Bad Homburg. Anyway we ate somewhere else and we walked to get to our car at 9:45 the restaurant was still empty

Enjoy a unique atmosphere between many original remembrances to the big apple-white Heinz Schenk such as the Bambi TV Prize, which he received for an excellent presentation, the original bar cabinet and the original bar lighting and many barbels by Heinz
Nice cozy place, with outdoor dining. Better suited for small groups than large gatherings. The Hamburger 'german way', with fried potatoes instead of the bun was hazardous but made to perfection. I would have gone back if I was not with a large group of 10 people for most of my two weeks in BH

We had been more than 10 colleagues and were placed on the upper floor in this otherwise very crowded restaurant (on a Tuesday night!). We were given 6 different starters to share and I loved both the funghi porcini, beef tartar, scallops and the calamari, while asparagus and shrimps were also ok. For the mains I ordered orata (dorado) filet with vegetables, a light and still flavourful dish. All in all combined with the nice and relatively low priced Pinot Bianco from Alto Adige as well as a smooth red Malvasia from Apulia this was an excellent experience. Definitely will come back with the family.

A very pleasant surprise on a cold winter evening, this romantic restaurant with really good food and wine; I had a celery cream and a char fish with a curry sauce (a rather rare and tasty sweet water fish coming from circumpolar regions of Norway and Sweden), near a well suggested Riesling; both dishes, as well as the house starters were more than I expected, great cooking and friendly service; worth more visits :)

Flammkuchen is one of the very local foods in this area. If you like to taste very thin huge cracker with cheese, this is one of the nice places in Taunus. So many locals and I think visit with reservation would be better for summer weekend.

Ristorante Limoncello has a beautiful setting and a wonderful outside terrace next to the "Kurpark". Menues include traditional Italian Food incl. various antipasti, meat and fish dishes and some nice dolce.Service is great and you should ask for the daily specials. Certainly one of the better Italisans in Bad Homburg.

Good, fresh Italian cuisine using best seasonal ingredients. Fresh seasonal white asparagus were much sweeter and tastier than those at the Hotel Steigenberger, for example. Fresh fish, simply but tastily prepared grilled with olive oil and garlic. Pasta was al dente. Very tasty spaghetti with fresh clams. Good service and reasonable wine selection . My favorite casual restaurant in Bad Homburg.
