We have been coming here for many, many years and the food is always delicious, reasonably priced and with a fantastic view. The owner is a very nice man too! The pastries and chocolates that are on sale are also excellent, expecially the florentine cookies which come in both milk and dark chocolate.

The only steakhouse in town, newly open from november 2017.
What can I say.......... POORPoor service - had to wait unreasonable time for our food to arrive. When it did it was poor.Steak was poor, pepper sauce was poor, chips were poor (frozen?!?), poor baked potato with a poor sauce. An evening wasted......Donât make a poor choice - avoid this place!!!!Dear Kitty!Thank you for your refreshing criticism. We checked also your reviews from other restaurants and saw, about how many restaurants you say that they are really bad or poor. It looks a bit, you like to bring some restaurants down because all your bad reviews never go on details. Also in our case i heard you didnt complain during this evening that we would have the chance, to give better service to you. It is one thing to criticize the service or the food of a restaurant, but its a other thing to aks other people to "avoid" a place. Dont forget, there are always staff who works in restaurants, waiters, cooks, dishwashesr, cleaningpersonal ect.. who in the most cases try to give their best. They life from their jobs and have maybe family and children. I guess you are young, you think its funny, or you feel a little bit important when you can write reviews like this. Maybe when you are older you will see, its more important only to enjoy a nice evening with friends or family in a restraurant, instead writing this kind of reviews all the time. I dont think at all that our food or service is poor, to be honest i think the only real "poor" thing in this case is your writing.

A cosy and loud place to have a drink or two. You can also get some snacks or food. There was a good live musinc performance and after that a Dj playing songs that everybody knew.

I wish I had Drop Inn in my city aswell! The food was super fresh, affordable and the portions were huge. They donât offer their own wifi but the shop downstairs shares theirs, which is a cheap move but funny in my opinion. The waiters worked well together and they always found a place to sit for out 8 person group. I really recommend their smoothies and juices after a long day of skiing. Unfortunately we werenât there for dinner but only lunch so I canât say about their dinner.

So after a week of Austrian food, which is great, we fancied something a bit lighter, so we came here due to good trip adviser reviews. First impression was that it was a nice setting and we were pleased to get stuck into the cocktails after drinking so much beer. However they were only OK. Then the food came; the menu looked OK, and it came out and had a stupid mix of fusion flavours. Whoever designed that has no taste. Then the bill came it was for my girlfriend and It was 120 euros, which is what I would pay at a top London restaurant. Nevertheless it was an funny and worth the laughing experience. I would not recommend this place, but if you want just a cocktail I might still pop down there. The service was good, and the menu idea being on an i-pad is tacky.

We went as a group of 4 for dinner. We ordered Pumpkin Soup, Deep Fried Mushrooms, Risotto, Apple strudel. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, although I would have preferred a larger portion of the soup (the best pumpkin soup I have ever tasted !). Everything was nicely presented and the owner was fabulous. He was very friendly, attentive and very helpful with explaining the menu. We were given a choice of tables and he was even willing to open the separate dining room/area just for us ! ( I have been to a few restaurants where they would not let you sit where you want !). We were also lucky to find an empty parking space just outside. We will definitely have dinner there again.

In the heart of Bad Gastein the 'Jägerhäusl' is welcoming you. Along alpine delights and the best of Austrian cuisine, a woodfired stone oven is providing sizzling Italian pizza. Enjoy a cold beer or a delightfully rooted drink in the garden or visit our
We enjoyed our meal here so much we went back a second evening.Fantastic pizzas from a proper wood fired oven but their menu extends to delights such as wild deer, which was excellent.Service was both efficient and friendly, what more can you ask for. They have an extra bonus of a small bar downstairs with a very friendly barman.Great place.......Recommended!!Thanks a lot for the nice review. Who was the friendly barman? ;) Hope to see you a third time in our Jägerhäusl. Have a nice skiing day. All the best

One of the most legendary alpine huts in Austria on sunny 1300m high above Bad Gastein, directly at the slope of the Stubnerkogel ski run and for decades a popular meeting place and known for its hospitality. In the rustic lodge with stunning flair and a
Nice wooden restaurant with a open fire right in the middle. Over three floors so if youâre unlucky you have to navigate down three narrow flights or stairs to get to the toilet.Foodâs pretty good although the meat in the Goulash soup was a little grisly.Quite fun to do the toboggan run from here (costs â¬6.50 per person) using the old one-man chair lift!!Dear Guest, thank you for being part of our legend.Thank you for your comments. It is not possible in a historic building to have toilets on every level. sorry for that.Hope to see pou soon on a lower level :-)AnastasiaManager

The pizzas in here were amazing! You have to book (as with everywhere in Bad Gastein) as it does get very busy (2 sittings per night at 6pm and 8pm). Friendly staff and efficient service.

Went there because of good ratings on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed at all. It's been one of the best restaurant experience lately. Food was delicious, service was superb and there were nice views of the town and mountains. Simply a very good experience. Highly recommend.
