New Bar Restaurant of this winter L PASSAGE on the slope at super morzine just at undred meter next to bubble lift, beautifull view of the "mont blanc",on the winter take "tretras" slope ,welcom to taste speciality of the région, and have a good time...
Spectacular food, service and atmosphere. The friendliest and happiest restaurant staff in the region. The food exceeded our expectations. It was warm and welcoming and we made sure to come back everyday we went skiing. And above all the Génépi flowed freely and made our afternoon skiing so much better than the morning! Would definitely recommend.

We saved Les Fontaines Blanches for the last meal of our holiday in Avoriaz, and what a deserving grand finale it was!! The atmosphere is incredibly friendly and happy, and seeing the Avoriaz ski instructors/mountain rescue/fire service also eating here confirms that the locals also know it's the go-to place for a superb mountain meal. Like most places in Avoriaz it's not cheap, but my goodness the portions are HUGE, and the food is quality and well-presented. Our waitress was incredibly sweet and looked after the two children in our party with lots of fun and attention. We had the most delicious lunch here - and definitely no dinner was needed that evening! The steaks and the tartiflette were absolutely incredible ... Definitely include LFB into your plans for a stay in Avoriaz; you won't be disappointed!!

In the heart of the resort, a fine and innovative cuisine, in a cosy traditional decor with a modern touch, unique in Avoriaz.
7 of us, 4 adults and 3 children for an evening family meal. This is a large restaurant on 2/3 levels and is certainly aiming for a well-heeled clientele. We were shown to our table and I realised things might be bad on the service front from the off. One of the adults speaking whilst the waiter was trying to hand the menus out and so they got their menu last; deliberately so, like a naughty schoolchild punished for not paying attention. After a long wait, drink orders taken from the adults but the waiter then left. I had to shout out so he then took the childrenâs drink order. Bizarre behaviour. Two of the adults said no to drinks as we wanted wine. I told the waiter, but no wine list. That had to be requested after the other drinks had been served and food orders taken and the waiter still hadnât twigged that two people had nothing to drink. The ordering was made deliberately difficult by the waiter. Apparently ris de veau has to be pronounced rrrrris de veau in order to be understood. I did French at degree level and so I know when someone is being deliberately awkward. Whilst we waited for our food the waiting staff dropped three items right next to us. Mistakes happen, but the attitude was to scurry into the corner laughing their heads off like a bunch of schoolchildren.Apart from being arrogant and rude the service was very slow to top things off. The table next to us seemed to get everything pretty quickly mind you, so maybe it was just us.One of the children ordered ketchup to go with his steak hache. This was plonked on the table next to him very firmly. You may think Iâm now starting to be over sensitive, but all the adults looked at each other at that moment and commented that something was wrong. The kids were oblivious. When we ordered the puddings one of the kids (a ten year old) asked if there was nuts in the chocolate ice cream (as he has a nut allergy). Now I get that there was a language barrier, but when the waiter finally understood what was being asked he was very dismissive and it was only when the adults insisted that he ask the chef that he went away to ask. The response was the chocolate ice cream did have nuts. Just as well we insisted. When he delivered the vanilla ice cream he said âno nutsâ straight faced - not a flicker of humour. Perhaps he doesnât get the potential consequences. As a parting aside can I say the food was pretty good. A solid 3 or 4 stars but quite pricey (not that surprising I suppose). Lamb shank, sweetbreads (rrrrris de veau) and entrecôte were actually all very good and the chips excellent. I canât remember the last time I left a restaurant without leaving a decent tip. I left no tip at all at this restaurant. I felt incredibly guilty, but none was deserved. As I left the restaurant I had a go at the manager. He needs to train his staff properly, or employ decent ones. In my view heâs as much to blame. All very sad.

Heading out of Lindarets main station head off to Ardent on the blue and fork right to Village de Chèvre. Here you will find a veritable Mecca of fine eating establishments. We went to La Cremaillere on a recommendation, rather than heading to the highly rated Chaudron across the slim snowy pathway. We managed to sneak a high table by the bar for the seven of us (4 adults and 3 children). The service was attentive, friendly and very efficient. The food was typical ski food, but of very high quality. Two had omelettes which were very good. Now I know the French should know how to cook a good omelette, but that has not been universally so on our travels. These omelettes however were premier league (or whatever the French equivalent is). A seafood salad was gigantic and frankly unnecessarily laden with top quality seafood. I had a fois gras medley which was sensational. Children wanting pasta duly had pasta which was highly rated.A particularly good bottle of Crozes Hermitage was surprisingly reasonable.Worth a return.

We ate at the Globe-Trotter at least five times (primarily because it was very close to the ski school and our kids were ravenous after skiing for the morning). The food was good. The only downside was that it was pretty expensive (although to be expected at a ski resort) and service was a little slow when the ski crowds came in.

Le Yeti is right on the piste and a really convenient lunch stop, just opposite where all the ski schools drop off after morning lessons. On a sunny day it's heaven: loads of alfresco seating (including deck chairs) and a great atmosphere with upbeat music playing. The menu is seriously extensive, the portions are generous and the food and drinks served quickly. We had no reason at all the complain! A solid place to meet for everything from a hot chocolate to a full meal.

We didnât book. The Manager greeted us with disdain and sat us in an awkward table in a corner as we hadnât booked. The regular tables remained empty as we ate our meal. It took 20 minutes to get a drink order in and we were served warm beer. Oh dear. Almost walked at this point and should have but everyone deserves a chance. The mains were Mont Dâor, Eântrecote and Tartar. It was all very average and over priced. The service was shocking with only 5 tables on the go. Please donât bother unless you want to feel unwelcome and get warm beer. After being extremely patient itâs a big letdown.

Take a seat in a Savoyard chalet and discover a generous and tasty gourmet cuisine inspired by the mountain.
What a fabulous restaurant. We go to Avoriaz every year however this year was the first dining here. We went twice. The food was amazing. Presentation was fabulous and wine was very good. It is more expensive than others in Avoriaz but you pay for what you get. I had the Escargot and steak main course and every dish in our group was commented how nice it tasted. Both times in the week were consistently amazing. we will be back next year. Warm interior and the kitchen on full view so you can see the hard working team in action.

Popped in for après, itâs a bit off the main routes, so was really quiet.Serving mostly wine & spirits, 2 up market bottled beers. They serve a light selection of food to complement a good bottle of wine - charcuterie, cheese or a mix, tapenade or oystersOwner was really friendly and helpful.Likely gets busier a font later.
