Find out what European restaurants to try in Athens. World renowned as the cradle of democracy and with the iconic Acropolis still standing proudly at its center, Athens is at once a living history lesson and a lively modern European capital. Its character varies from the busy commercial avenues connecting its two main squares, Syntagma and Omonia, to the tight-knit alleys of the touristic old town areas of Plaka and Monastiraki. The city has a busy nightlife scene: its convivial tavernas and buzzing bars in neighborhoods such as Exarchia, Psirri and Gazi are packed and lively well into the night.

In gastronomy, in-situ refers to the art of cooking with the available raw materials depending on the season or the time you cook. At SIMUL we create our tastes based on fresh raw material and the creativity of the day. We serve the cuisine philosophy tha
Nice environment, very attentive service. The food was also very tasty and very nicely presented. We has a succulent lamb shoulder, a super tender rooster, a nice squid with parsley sauce and a bit of coconut milk and a zucchini spaghetti salad with smoked trout croquettes. All dishes were of very high quality and ingredients. The ekmek dessert was also tasty and innovatively presented. Overall, a solid experience and very reasonably priced.Thank you so much for your visit and your detailed review! Please come back soon to try our new winter menu, that starts mid October! Alexandra

The restaurant is a perfectly restored villa from the early years of the previous century. The decor strikes the perfect balance between luxury and ambience, creating an atmosphere which is quite formal but still unpretentious, cozy and elegant. The resta
I have visited the place in question several times, and as always does not disappoint. The beef tartar with aubergine was excellent, as well as their signature dish with pumpkin mousse and cured apaki meat. The service discreet and attentive and if you dine at their garden (they use it in summer) you ll enjoy it full as it is very cozyRecommended!

Let's travel! Visit different beautiful corners of our planet by savoring their dishes here! Every place on earth is filled with happy moments and mind-blowing flavors. Food is one of the best indulgences in life, a discovery, a delight to the palate, and
I came to know A Little Taste of Home through a recommendation. The food and the service were excellent with an added bonus of a small kitty on premises (obligatory in Greece!). Try any of the dishes and you will be well pleased. If you like chocolate, get the MOUSSE! It's huge AND satisfying. Of course you will need coffee afterward and get the GREEK coffee! Well made and well served. Christos took very good care of me and you will probably meet him if you go there. And while it is a small restaurant, it is best if you reserve a table before you go. The prices are reasonable and the foods they offer are from around the world. I began with the suggestion of Talagani, a sheep's milk cheese that was wonderful and not overpowering. I then moved on to the Tajine, a braised lamb dish from the Beber region of North Africa which is cooked in a clay pot. I finally ended with the HUGE chocolate mousse which was served in a large glass ice cream dish and was almost too much for me to handle. A glass of excellent wine was recommended by Christos and he walked me skilfully throughout the menu. In short, an excellent experience, a fair price and an evening well enjoyed.

Unique food combined with special cocktails!
Go there, you wonât regret it. Very cutely decorated restaurant/bistro, a walk of maybe 15 minutes away from the Akropolis. Their signature dish is something like the Dutch poffertjes, but with a twist: they are filled with either sweet or savory stuff and both is to die for. They offer other foods as well, see the menu I attached to this review (everything is for staying in or taking it away). Vegetarians definitely are catered for. Their draft beer is ice cold and good. The ladies who run this restaurant are very nice as well, attentive, friendly and English-speaking. Youâll notice that they like what they do and that they are genuinely happy when you like their food (and tell them so).Iâll be here at least once every time I come to Athens again!

Welcome To Our Restaurant.we D0 Everything To Be Happy And Have A Good Time To Our Restayrant!your Happiness Is Our Happiness!
We came here for lunch during our trip to Athens and it looks a bit dingy and not very luxurious but the waitress was very friendly. We ordered the souvlaki and it was OK- not the worst but, not the best either. The waitress was very sweet and gave us complimentary ice cream.

Vegetarian and Vegan steet food in Athens. Tasty and traditional food from Lebanon! Fresh juices , coffee and more... Come to enjoy it!
Went to EJ Falafel after reading all the excellent reviews and it did not disappoint. The falafel sandwich was excellent (â¬2.50 for a generous portion). The white sauce and pickles gave it a nice kick. I ordered a fresh orange juice and they squeezed it there and then. Again, a generous portion for only â¬1.I would go back there in a heartbeat - in fact I will day after tomorrow (they are closed on Sundays).
