Breakfast and cocktails with a smile
This is an easy to miss cafe but you should make the effort to find it. The food is really good and the service is just as good plus the price is amazingly low

- Tipycal Spanish "Tapas" - Iberian Meat - Selection of Chesse - Special Meat - Fish
I visited this restaurant after having it recommended by our hotel waiter. It was my birthday and we wanted somewhere a little bit special, what we got was a truly unforgettable experience. The two hosts/owners are so charismatic and go truly above and beyond to make sure you have a truly special evening of food, drink, charm and character. We enjoyed our evening so much we returned two nights later, we were only on the island a week and were staying at an all inclusive! I wouldn't hesitate to go back and shall do when we return to the island in the future. I couldn't recommend a restaurant more, simply a must go if you're a lover of great food and unrivalled hosting!

A bit away from most of the restaurants in this town - essentially turn left as you come into the port and park by the fisherman's dock, then walk along the promenade 100 metres to the end.Nice peaceful location, quite a few tables outside, a small conservatory on the front, then tables inside. It does get plenty of sun, so the shade might be welcome.Friendly, helpful staff, but having basic Spanish at least will be helpful, as English is limited. Though to be honest you can go the the counter and just point at the fish on display, and let them get on with it. My wife had prawn and seafood skewers, and I had a large black bream. It all came really well cooked, full of flavour. Canarian potatoes and salad also good. Portions were generous.A litre of sparkling water was less than 2 euros, and loads of bread with dips for 50 centsA very pleasant lunchtime!(we did walk down to where the other restaurants are, nearer the beach, and it seemed rather hectic, so maybe a good choice if you like things a bit more laid back)

As ever, cafe al mar is the perfect place to be. Wonderful sea views. Quiet location. Totally relaxing atmosphere. Tapas are good and imaginative, beautifully presented, and extremely reasonably priced. Drinks, too. Highly recommended.

We have been to this Restaurant before for Tapas it was so good we thought we would call again, and we was not disappointed, we sat outside with a good view of the Atlantic Ocean and ordered our Tapas, it's all ways good to have a walk into the Restaurant and see what's on show, we picked out our five Tapas dishes, you have choice of small, medium or large dishes, our service was excellent and the food well cooked, we had two beers, glass of wine and two coffee, the bill came to 28.00 euros, very good value.

Tucked away in a courtyard you will find this little gem of a restaurant. Dishes are thoughtfully selected and prepared to perfection. I never got the chance to try the drunken dessert which seems to be whisky with ice-cream. Maybe next time?

Closed For Holidays From Saturday 28TH Of April To Monday 4TH Of June. Open Again Tuesday 5TH Of June.
From the outside, it looks quite dull, but when you come inside, you will expire the warmest atmosphere and an exceptional waiter who very gently and qualified guided us through our selection of food and wine. We followed his suggestions and had some really very good food, excellent prepared and seasoned.Whole wine bottles came on the table and we freely could take what we want - and when we paid, the waiter just looked at the bottles and estimated how much we have taken - and we paid just that.So we can fully recommend this restaurant - mainly for the food, but absolutely also for the atmosphere and the waiter!

We went there in the middle of the week to have lunch because we have heared a lot of good recommendations. They serve fresh fish and seafood you chose from the fridge. It was an amazing experience. I recommend to make a reservation because when we were there (around 14 oâclock) it was completely crowded and we had to wait for the table for cca 20 min.

Fresh fish and live seafood , paella, tapas
We went there quite early, only one staff speaking English but they all were very friendly and helpful. Just pick what you want at the counter then they'll cook it for you. Had a bery satisfiying meal coz Im a seafood lover. Even my husband who is not usually a big fan of seafood enjoyed himself very much. Price is reasonable as well. We ordered 1 big sole, another smaller fish, 1 oyster, 1/3 squid, 2 big prawn(this is the most expensive but the best), 2" fish roe, grilled peppers, 1 potatoes, 4scallops and a handfull of local clams, 1 kids chicken nugget with chips and a bottle of wine total was â¬80 very reasonable. Definitely recommended. Simple but good

Where do I start? Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The food, the choice, the service ...everything was first class. We tried the combination platter and were not disappointed. The flavours were amazing and we got to try a good amount of everything. They were happy to accommodate variations to the menu to make things child friendly. My daughter wanted the gnocchi but with a tomato sauce instead of the one on the menu and she happily ate until she was full. Our favourite was the tortilla, Hulk (spinach gnocchi type of thing in a rich tomato sauce) and chick pea curry. The vegan mozzarella was fabulous too. I canât recommend the food enough. For dessert we tried the chocolate torte (amazing), Kaki cheesecake (lighter than the torte) and the pear and chocolate muffin with vegan ice cream. All were a thumbs up. Rounded off with great tasting coffee and herbal tea. A restaurant we will never forget and canât wait to return. The service was special too. Everyone was happy and friendly. Really goid service with a smile. Relaxing and comfortable. The restaurant was full on Sunday afternoon so advanced reservations strongly recommended. Well worth the trip out here for excellent food and hospitality. If possible Iâd give it 6 stars.
