I always pop in when ever possible for food with my family and it is always an amazing experience. The food is perfect, the portion sizes are brilliant and the reception you receive the second you walk in the door is so warming! 100% would recommend.

La Bella Roma is located beside Youghal's famous Clock Gate Tower, housed in a 400 years old building that offers a great atmosphere & genuine food freshly prepared. It is a gathering place for locals, visitors and sea goers who seek warmth, shelter, food
Visited here yesterday for a quick bite. Service was great and I ordered a gluten free pizza with no cheese as I am lactose intolerant. Luigi came down to me and offered me vegan cheese. It was so lovely to have a pizza, from an Italian restaurant. Thank you so much for doing that. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be returning to Luigi's when in Youghal again which will be soon.

The Walter Restaurant & Bar is a period style pub with amazing sea views. Relax in front of the open turf fire and enjoy a beautifully prepared lunch or dinner. Our menu is available from 12 noon till 9pm each day. It is full of classic local dishes like
My family and I dropped in for a lovely evening tea and really enjoyed the pleasant environment and good service.Very handy after a walk along the promenade. My only disappointment was when I enquired at the desk about any special offers to stay at the hotel, the person at the reception was not helpful and somewhat dismissive

We had a nice evening here. The service was good and the food was excellent, particularly the feather blade beef. Beautifully tender meat and good flavours from the root veg and mash. After a walk through the town assessing the restaurant options I think we found the best food at the best value for money. One slight sour note was the espresso. Seemed to be some sort of Nescafé concoction. Otherwise a thumbs up:-)

With an impressive selection of beers, wines, whiskeys and cocktails, Clancy's is among the premier locations for a good night out in East Cork-whether it's to meet up with friends, celebrate a special occasion, enjoy the live music or catch any and all i
Both the food and the service was flawless. The portions (especially the kids portions) were very big also which was great. Our order was taken quickly and we were not waiting long for the food despite the place being fairly busy. Would definitely recommend!

We visited Whitehorses recently to celebrate quietly our Golden Wedding anniversary. My husband was recovering from radiation treatment for cancer and our only daughter was away abroad on holiday so we opted for something pleasant and "low-key" on the day. We love Ardmore and have spent many happy times on the beach at Whiting Bay. Our table was booked at the restaurant. The restaurant was busy and we were served quickly. Sadly one of the more senior staff there, possibly an owner seemed unfriendly and with a positive dislike for the general paying public. The food was fine, very hot but we thought that it had possibly been pre-cooked and then micro-waved prior to serving. We felt that the whole experience, while pleasant enough, lacked the finesse and good customer service that one would expect and like to see at such a place. The cutlery that we were given was dumped on the table and it was not matching in size or really adequate for the dishes we had chosen. When l asked for advice on choice between two dish l was told sharply, well, just have what you want. One wonders if the management read and act upon these reviews or just say, oh well they were unhappy but, so what ? The paying customers just keep coming. Will we go back? Probably not.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay at The Cliff House Hotel. Every touch point was perfect. The booking process over the phone was friendly, informative and efficient. The check in process explained well the facilities, the team were friendly and professional. Ours gentleman at the front door helped bring our bags in from the car, they were brought to our room quickly, we were made to feel very welcome and taken care of. We enjoyed lunch and dinner in the bar. The food was great, dinner in particular was memorable. The service was excellent, we had the steak and the cod, the lemon mash was very special, the good was delicious. Breakfast again was very special and such a beautiful service. The Well Spa was a peaceful haven in which we spent a few hours relaxing and enjoying the facilities and amazing views. The facilities are excellently maintained, the design aspects give the space a real 5 star feel. The cliff side walk is stunning and a great amenity. The bedroom was the highlight for us, with amazing sea views, huge bathroom, with double shower and bath. The bed was so comfortable and the turn down service with lavender on the pillow and lamps on, jazz music playing was so special. We were blown away by everything, and couldn't imagine how the experience could possibility be improved. Well done to all the team, and thank you for a very special and memorable stay.
