We have been to Viola nearly a dozen times since it opened and have always been delighted with the experience. In my last review, a year and a half ago, I praised the fact that their menu goes well beyond the traditional Ligurian specialties. The local dishes are prepared with finesse too. Today we put that view to the test, ordering oysters and King Crab. The oysters, fine specimens from either Normandy or Brittany, were the equal of those we have had in savvy Parisian restaurants-and at a fair price of 4 Euro per oyster. The Crabs, I believe from Norway, were superb, carefully prepared so that you could get all of the wonderful meat out simply with a fork. The wine list offers a thoughtful selection from most of the regions of Italy and a few representative ones from France. They also have a separate list of sparkling wines, including some very excellent Champagnes. It is a small restaurant. The proprietor makes you feel truly welcome. The kitchen crafts beautiful dishes. The prices are moderately high but perfectly consistent with the high quality of the ingredients and the preparation. One of the two or three best in town and worth a journey if you are not staying here.

NOVE was born from the encounter of chef Giorgio Servetto and Villa della Pergola. NOVE wants to put at first place the quality of raw materials, researching authentic local products and giving complete importance to seasons. Chef Giorgio Servetto's cuisi
This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is all beautiful to look at and wonderful to eat. The table is beautifully laid with lovely linen, cutlery and china. The service is impeccable. The Maitre D/sommelier is hugely knowledgeable about wine and does not suggest the most expensive but what pairs best with what you are eating. The location of the restaurant in Villa Della Pergola could not be better. The gardens are magnificent with a view of the sea. What more could anyone ask?

Located in a peaceful and sunny area just about 40 mt from the sea. A house that could fit together well, classical style and modern comforts. The Restaurant Lamberti, recented renovated, is in a minimalist style. The Restaurant offers a typical and tradi
Substance and artistry, this is a restaurant that consistently exemplifies Ligurian cuisine carried to its highest level. Every dish is presented with an ideal combination of premium ingredients, attractive plating and full flavor. The service is truly professional. The wine selection is deep and fairly priced. The dining room is elegant and comfortable. The menu changes with the seasons. Besides the predictably strong suit in fish and shellfish, the chef knows how to prepare meat and poultry dishes with exemplary skill. There are a number of fine establshments in town. This is where we take our friends who have the deepest passion for culinary excellence.

Locale presente dal 1994 sulla spiaggia di Alassio. Propone una cucina multietnica, dal pesce nostrano alla Paella, dalle carni da tutto il mondo al Messicano. Locale allegro, con musica dal vivo e spettacoli a tema. Rapporto qualita' prezzo ottimo, puliz
For years, even decades, we have been walking past this restaurant in the smug assumption that it was a tourist trap. The wide advertised selection: Tex-Mex, paella, pizza, seafood, spaghetteria, steaks, lots of photos of food have many of the warning signs. How can a restaurant do all these different types of food and do them well? But look closer, it is often filled and with more locals than tourists. Our mental tide turned when I read about the owner's campaign against the vindictive kind of TA reviews where people have said a lot of unkind things without the courtesy and fairness of bringing problems to the attention of the owners and giving them the opportunity to make them right. Clearly, nearly every one in the constantly challenging hospitality business wants to satisfy their customers. Why else would they earn a living in this demanding field? The greeting is sincere and cheerful. The menu is indeed expansive. We are not in a hurry to try the Tex-Mex offerings since we have access to the real deal at home. We opted for Argentine steaks and they were quite good. (We have spent some time in Argentina and appreciate the quality of its beef). Prices were fair. A mixed salad, desserts and Lavazza coffee were all well prepared and presented. The decor is a bit generic but not unpleasant. This has not all of a sudden become a favorite venue, but I have new respect for their hard work and decent offerings at fair and modest prices. We will be back to try their pizza and perhaps the Paella. Equally important, we are glad to have jettisoned one prejudice.

Quite often TripAdvisor lists the same place under different names because of confusion by reviewers or variations in title or language. There are more than 600 reviews available, good and bad, if you look for the listing with the Italian spelling of 'ristorante' rather than 'restaurant'.

This restaurant has a sort of Medieval them, which doesn't quite work. The staff are in cotton shifts with a St George cross on, and the food might have been great for big meat-eaters but left us with little choice. Not cheap, either!Sorry for my bad English, I am Emilio the owner of Ai Secoli Bui. I think it is difficult to satisfy all tastes of our customers, usually people come to us for the actual quality of the meat, our strength! we do however also appetizers, soups, pasta, pizza, focaccia and something fish. The price of our meat is directly proportional to the high-quality of the proposal. We hope to have you for our guests to try to make you change your mind on our work.

A nice evening above the Mediterranean in the nice atmosphere of the La Femme. We had menu degustiazione for one and Antipasti and secondo piatto separately. It was prepared accordingly but a little design-oriented more than extraordinary taste. The pulpo crosta though was excellent, the different dips/cremes ( as well as those accompanying the raw fish platter (nigiri) nevertheless were boring. Vitello tonnato was a good portion with lots of tonno taste. The roasted fish then was very tasty and excellent together with Ligurian vegetables. The desert was again a little boring and unambitious. Over all we had a very nice evening, service was friendly and efficient, but to be honest we had a little higher expectation-maybe next time.

After a rather negative first impression a few years ago, we wanted to try Rocce again. So glad we did!The location is still fabulous, in fact t's almost unbeatable. The restaurant is as attractive as always, but the improvements concern the professionalism of the service and the menu. The fish courses are traditional with a twist, for example we had a very rare offer on menus anywhere along the coast - a fantasy of boiled fish. Not at all as boring as one may suppose, on the contrary, very tasty, beautifully presented and more than we could eat! Congratulations to the management
