This restaurant is business like and I would say more expensive than other places we have eaten in Amiens. The service is efficient. you are offered menus in English and French. it is busy so i would recommend a reservation. Whatever your preferred language, seafood is the thing! i like fish so i chose tuna basquaise which was seared tuna steak with tomato sauce and tagliatelle. it could have been hotter but the steak was cooked perfectly. the pave of beef was also perfectly cooked, served with a huge bowl of stringy chips which were piping hot. The creme caramel was delicious but i would not chose the cafe gourmand again - cold rice pudding, cold apple crumble and a tiny sponge cake wasnt gourmandise enough for me. the wine list is extensive, so you should find something to suit your tastes.

As a solo female traveller, I was well received--a table even reserved for me when I enquired earlier about dinner. I chose one of the special menus one offer which featured delicious cuisine bourgeoise and was a real bargain in the quality and variety of wines selected by the glass to accompany each course. The service was attentive and friendly without being obtrusive. Obviously popular among locals--regular customers were being greeted but the warm welcome extended to passing strangers too.

This Goldsmith of eating well regales us with seasonal dishes where the palette of flavors and colors, contrasting textures, the accuracy of firings are hit the mark of excellence
We had high expectations of this restaurant. Foodwise it was indeed worthwile. But for us the wines, service and price quality are also important. Service was polite. The waitresses were very young and at times a bit inexperienced. But that did not matter. We all had to learn at some point in life isn't it? With each course we had accompanying wines. And that was not a succes. The wines were dissapointing. Considering the fact that the glasses were filled with almost nothing it was also very much overpriced. Don't get us wrong. We don't want to walk away half drunk but this was ridiculous. Our 4 course meal was accompanied by 4 glasses that in total came down at barely more than 1 glass! The bill: 200 euros. So if you want to dine here just order a bottle to your liking. You will enjoy it more and have more.

Tasty bouche gueules - my starter seemed to be the only dish homemade with the main except that my veal was full of nerves - the deserts were all from a pack and microwaved (could here the beeps from the microwave on full blast when everyone had reached to the desert), with pineapple from a tin - The new waitress was wearing trainers and the owner was wearing jeans -

We chose this place specifically for the excellent food reviews and food quality...and, no disappointments on that front. The two young chefs ensure the attention to details and food quality are first class by having a very limited table d'hote menu with you only choice is between a meat or fish main course. The wine list is OK but could have better descriptions of the grape varietals to assist choices. Despite the very excellent food quality there is little to no ambience in this 30 seat establishment and almost zero interaction between the very efficient and very busy maitre d' / host / waiter, a few smiles and some engagement would go a very long way, but there was none, and yes he was very busy...but.....same goes for the young chef / owners who have designed this place with a very open kitchen so you see all the preparation but there's no engagement with customers before, during or after service, no-one enquires to your enjoyment, satisfaction or seeks your feedback....is this a lack of interest, youth indifference or arrogance...it's hard to say but as soon as service was finished chefs changed clothes, cleaned up and departed without so much as a single word to a single customer. Restaurants are about more than just the food and more about the experience. We had a very good meal in good company but it could have been so much more!

I have visited the Table du Marais before and it is an excellent venue. This time I went there with a colleague to sample their good food which did not disappointThe ingrédients were high quality - the wine good if a little priceyThis venue is great in summer when you can sit on the terrace and look at the lakeThe service was also excellent with a bilingual waiter (who wanted to practice his English)

Found on tripadvisor, the exterior per the three reviews is a little nondescript but inside is cosy and smart. Very friendly service, even though we canât speak French, with an English menu to save translating their french one. Per other reviews, simple food done very well, the perfect meal to end a long day In the sun. Full of locals, well worth leaving the Old Town touristy area for.Thank you so much Sir for advice! It is alway a real pleasure for us To meet some English people and speak.See you !

We visited the Osmoz on our first night in France. We've recently been reading about French Restaurant standards heading south and this seemed to bear that evaluation out. Not much to say: mediocre food; spotty service and a significant staff attitude problem: As we left, one of them sneered "Your French is excellent." Well, Pierre, your restaurant isn't.

This little restaurant is a good option for quick and reasonably priced dinner in Amiens. The menu is very simple and quite affordable. We chose a burger and an entrecote - both were very sizeable meals and we didn't any entrees or dessert. The waiter was really friendly and the other patrons appeared to be locals.
