We open the bar 10 years ago. We offer a fresh and tasty food, with a gluten-free and vegetarian option.
This was not quite what I expected from the reviews but good nonetheless. This little bar is in the student district so is priced accordingly. No frills, but pleasant service and good food. Worryingly cheap wine, but actually quite drinkable! Am sure there are plenty of better tapas bars, but if you want good food at a reasonable price and are not looking for neighbourhood ambiance then this is a find.

The menu at Ricard Camarena Restaurant (Michelin Star and three Repsol Suns) is a successful combination of taste, absolute respect for the product, an understated creative cuisine grounded in tradition with cosmopolitan and Mediterranean influences and b
We booked this restaurant for our wedding anniversary while staying in Valencia. On the morning of our meal, we got an email/whats app message to confirm our dietary needs. My wife is allergic to shellfish, which I already confirmed to them, and I re-confirmed this again when replying to their message. When we arrived at the restaurant, they reconfirmed that they knew my wife was allergic to shellfish. We both ordered the ten-course "Ricard Camarena" tasting menu but were then advised that my wife couldn't have it due to her allergy and they could not substitute some of the dishes with a non-shellfish option. She was advised to have the seven course "Synthesis" tasting menu. This resulted in her having nothing to eat for long periods which is not acceptable. We have been in other fine dining establishments before and they were always able to accommodate my wife. This restaurant was told numerous times about her allergy but were completely inflexible and unable to meet the needs of the diner. The FAQs section in their website states that they can adapt their menu if they are given plenty of notice and if the allergy is not too severe. Many people have an allergy to shellfish and it not considered unusual. To compound matters, they then proceeded to give my wife a starter containing squid which can be considered as shellfish with people with a shellfish allergy. They did replace this starter with a second dessert but as with some other courses, I was eating on my own. Ignoring all the above, the food was extremely underwhelming but we did find a nice bottle of wine to try to rescue the night. When we ordered a second bottle, we were told they did not have one so we had to go look for another bottle.Overall, we were extremely disappointed and were glad to leave.

New restaurant in Valencia, speciality in rice, paella and Mediterranean cuisine. Come and meet us, we have the best prices.
Our hotel tried all day to make a reservation, but the phone was constantly busy. So, without a reservation, we were welcomed, shown a nice table and served by smiling attentive staff. The small outside entrance hides a beautifully appointed surprisingly large multi-story eating area. Our meal was super, the wine was delicious (and reasonably priced) and the whole experience was totally top-shelf. Really, this is a professionally run restaurant with warm small-town feeling. Our whole experience was five star all the way.

Extremely popular paella restaurant, always full and queueing, so book in advance. They provide all kinds of paella, including common seafood or inkfish versions. I would recommend paella valenciana, the earliest and most traditional Valencia taste. This and the vegetarian paella are the 2 dishes that need to book at least 1 day in advance.

Restaurant with modern and delicious dishes with eggs and many more!
We went here on the strength of the TA reviews and were not disappointed. The food is Tapas style but was on another level to any other Tapas we had during our stay. We shared 3 tapas dishes and a dessert and a great bottle of wine and it came to 50 Euro. Well done guys

Small and familiar restaurant specialized in rice, our specialties the seafood paella, the paella of carabineros, the paella of lobster, let us advise you with our selection of Valencian wines that will surprise you.
This is a very small typically simple Spanish restaurant. It is simply decorated and certainly not salubrious, however more importantly it was spotless, well furnished and nicely presented. The place seems to be run by a family with only one person serving, however, here's the rub, the service was excellent. The waiter was extremely helpful, and very pleasant. Now to the food. My oh! my. This is food to really savour. The two starters we shared were lovely home made croquets but the cuttlefish in mushrooms and asparagus was simply delicious. We had pre-ordered the seafood paella which you need to do when you book a table, which you MUST. The place is very much a little tourist haven and the owner had to turn people away who had not reserved, so reservation is essential. The paella, had the most wonderful flavour and cooked to perfection. For desert, the home made carrot cake was moist and delicious and the chocolate and orange cheese cake was different and fantastic. Now here's he other rub. For a meal like that with sparking water and two beers, two coffees only came to €59.Will I go back, most definitely and the maximum of 5 discs is not enough for Pasqualet. It is already rated the number one in El Palmar and it is certainly going to stay there serving food like it does. Long may it thrive.

Everything from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food at Estalvi is INCREDIBLE! I am a vegetarian, and it's so vegetarian friendly, and the food was honestly some of the best I have had, especially in Spain. Combinations so unique and so perfect. I wanted to have my starter salad for desert too, as it was that amazing. A huge thank you to Victor and his wife, who is one talented chef, for such a wonderful experience. We cannot wait to return over and over again, even if we have to drive 35 minutes every time. Wow!

OK! The set menu is 24 euros and other restaurants nearby offer one for just 12.However, every single detail counts and you feel it immediately when you are already at the table. Tablecloth, napkins, and service.I liked the menu: three starters and then a main dish you can choose from three different options. Dessert was fine too.I liked it!

We were very disappointed. We took the degustation menu with selected wines, and with speeds of lightning dishes and 'corresponding' wines (which didn't really match) were 'served', which means simply added to whatever was still at the table. At one point we had 2 dishes and 3 glasses of wine. It was ridiculous. There are way better options, even for the price.. No explanation about food.We were quick because, as we discussed before sitting, we need a table en in an hour and a half and and we have left you half an hour more, modifying all the reserves of the second shift. The tasting menu has 4 dishes+dessert (19.50€) and the wine pairing are 8€ for person. We believe that wines are well pared and 5 dishes every 25 minutes it's ok. We are sorry if you need more time and if you don't like the wine pairing.RegardsElisa
